During the fifth season it seems like the writers knew that Boston Legal was going to end soon giving them the opportunity to let loose and have a lot of fun. Denny Crane and Alan Shore are as great as ever and the supporting cast doesn't get in the way as much as it did in the earlier seasons. While some may argue that this season feels a little light on the drama of earlier seasons,During the fifth season it seems like the writers knew that Boston Legal was going to end soon giving them the opportunity to let loose and have a lot of fun. While some may argue that this season feels a little light on the drama of earlier seasons, there are still plenty of touching moments between Denny and Alan as well as the other characters. The series finale is priceless.
If you've never seen the show, you could jump into season five right away, but I recommend starting with season one. David E. Kelley writes a sharp script with crisp dialog and plots that never get too repetitive. Definitely one of the best and most original (ironically given the series start on The Practice) courtroom dramadies.… Expand
