This is a masterpiece. Bojack Horseman ended as one of the most impressive shows of the golden age of streaming. The penultimate episode it's the best of the series, and it was an impressive feat, in a show that did memorable episodes like a silent episode (Fish Out of Water) and a monologue episode (free churro), episodes that consolidate the fantastic designed and bold decisions of the writers and producers, see more one of this masterly crafted experimental episodes is chilling, and it's a hell of a ride. It ends as one of the masterfull series of modern time, in the same level as Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, Mad men and Breaking Bad. Expand

An amazingly well done conclusion to one of the greatest TV series of this century. This is one of the best examples on how to do a show that is hopeful and depressing, a show that displays what a broken person is like, a show that lets you see how even if you try your best to change there is still a part of you that will never change. So don't stop dancing until the curtain falls.

Although admittedly I was concerned in finding out it was mostly Netflix's decision to end the show, not the creators', Bojack ends superbly and masterfully in a powerful and tear-jerking way I haven't felt in any TV show I've ever watched. All of the plotlines for each of the five leads ends spectacularly, the humor is still on-point, and the emotion is dialed up to 11. It's beautifully voice acted, portrays many issues (depression, romantic and familial relationships, and sexuality to name a few) in a hauntingly realistic manner, and the final two episodes are truly something else. This is one of the best shows I've ever watched, one of the few shows to make me laugh and weep at the same time, and this is still arguably the best show I've ever watched. Expand

This series ended in such a great way that it’s hard to think of many ways they could do better. Bojack proved itself to be one of the most surprising animated shows to come out.

It feels like the show got better and better every single season, especially after the first season. Bojack Horseman ended beautifully and is an elite amongst the modern era of streaming. Beautiful writing, acting, and animation. The only reason I'm giving it a 9 instead of a 10 is that I believe there were one or two minor sub-plots that they could've improved, but it was beautiful overall.

A satisfying open ended end to one of my favorite most satisfying shows. The positive depiction of weight gain was a welcomed first. This show is a part of history. I haven't stopped crying Expand

In the end the depressed horse show didn’t just give us a way to vocalize our own vulnerabilities, insecurities, and mental anguish. It also gave us hope for a better future, as well as a guide for us all to find our own happiness.

Episode 15 feels like “BoJack Horseman: The Drama” while the start of Episode 16 feels like “BoJack Horseman: The Sitcom,” and (for once) the blend doesn’t come together as part of the series’ potent and inventive new genre. But it still sticks the landing. ... Balancing its tones, ambitions, and deep respect for its characters, the series emerges an unparalleled original. No more horse than a man, no more man than a horse. It’s both.

We can all find jewels in unexpected places. If you’re open to having a pink talking cat struggle with the grief of miscarriage, or can find emotional depth in a horse with dementia being consoled by her errant son, then you bring to BoJack Horseman what it needs to be appreciated. And it’s worth it.
