    More good than bad, but reserving judgement on the new mayor plot device. They handled the interim mayor plot device and the enemy from NY state characters so badly, just don’t trust the writers to handle a new mayor in plots very well.

    Still think they should be working on getting the PC’s kids out of his shadow and letting them move on to other positions based on their merit.     Still think they should be working on getting the PC’s kids out of his shadow and letting them move on to other positions based on their merit. Jamie and Janko should be sent on different career paths quickly.

    At some point the current PC is going to retire or be asked to resign. (That is, Sellick will want to move on probably sooner rather than later.) Would be great is they could set things up for Blue Bloods, the next generation. Originally thought Jamie should shoot up the ranks and become PC, but it might be better if Janko would make the miraculous rise to power and take over from a bad PC put in place by a stupid liberal mayor after firing Frank (and possibly Danny). Janko could reinstate Danny and bring Frank back as a sometimes special advisor - basically an occasional cameo.

    Probably won’t happen, but this show could use a huge shake up.    … Expand
