Apr 4, 2017Awesome series, one of th best for me on netflix (house of cards, walking dead, OA, stranger things)
the slow beat of the series is different and nice, the actors are very good

Jan 14, 2017for me bloodline is one of the best shows the last few years, it's up there with shows like fargo or other all time classics.. you will hate most of the characters but in a good way, they acting is outstanding and it's very satisfying to see how each of those individuals **** up.. just a good watch, try it out

Jun 5, 2016Like the show and the captivating drama, but what is with the over use of the f word? Really can not watch this with children around. The f word is just about in every sentence, becomes annoying. Otherwise I would give this a higher rating.
-
Oct 20, 2015Watching all these annoying people constantly whine and bicker was like fingernails on a chalkboard. I really tried but after three episodes I had to turn it off. Everyone did a fine job but I hated all the characters and the the whole sweaty, dysfunctional family.

Aug 15, 2015Great acting, lovely location, good story. This show far exceeds any of the crap on network tv (and they can use grown-up words without offending the bible thumpers)

Jul 29, 2015excellent acting
excellent screenplay
amazing writing.
This is such a deep story and its told very well. The acting is so convincing it reminded me of what family life was on a tropical vacation spot. ...but its so much deeper than that. -
Jun 21, 2015I heard it builds up slowly but then having watched Kyle Chandler in Friday Night Lights I gave it a go and it didn't disappoint me. Yes, I felt it built up little bit slowly but then it was build up for good. The performances of Kyle Chandler and Ben Mendelsohn are praiseworthy and all in all the show gives you thrills and it has now established a very good base for next season.

May 28, 2015I really, really like "Bloodline"! The characters are normal people that could be your neighbors and friends. So when the bad stuff happens, it feels real and scary! I really felt it. The rain, leaves, and the beaches make a very atmospheric portrait of the Florida Keys. I loved the actors, the music and, of course, the Keys!

Apr 23, 2015I just finished season one and I loved it. The reason I gave a score rating 8 is because Ben Mendelsohn was the show and he was amazing and the writers decided to kill him of the show. Bad choice. Yes all the other actors are good but this was Ben Mendelsohn's show. Bring him back.

Apr 12, 2015I think this show has a good story line. I just can't get past the continuous use of the "f" word. Really people. I am not a prude but 6 times in one sentence is just stupid. There are other descriptive words. Normal people don't use that word so often. Sure wish they would tone it down so I can enjoy the story.

Apr 7, 2015And I was thinking that Dexter was the perfect series. When I finished Dexter I was searching for some new series and none of them got my attention. When Netflix introduce this series I expecting a boring cliche type plot but NO. This is clearly my favorite show and I finished it during Spring Break. If you're looking for an intense or interesting series than this is for you. Worth my damn time.

Apr 5, 2015I knew this show would be good when I first saw the trailer, but I didn't think it would be amazing. I loved it. The acting was phenomenal especially Danny's actor, the writing was great, the cinematography was nice, the music was chilling, it was intense, and very well-paced.
-
Apr 2, 2015The series was 3 hours too long ...those final 3-4 episodes got stretched out ...
That said , Loved the Series , but like the eerily similar RECTIFY, even more .....non network programming should always STOP ALREADY at Ep 10 ....

Buoyed by a bravura performance from Australian Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises) as prodigal son Danny Rayburn, Bloodline is an absorbing, fractious family drama that captivates despite giving away Season 1’s major development in the very first hour.
-
The Rayburns are, to a tee, well-trod stereotypes. Their dialogue is often as two-dimensional as they are, and when it veers more toward the melo than the drama, Bloodline can get down right corny.
-
Bloodline unfolds like a good novel. It’s so well acted, that like a good book, it’s hard to stay away from it
