Aug 9, 2014Aaron McGruder understands the epic comedy coming out of everyday life. Even though there is an all-loving, morally democratic, miracle-capable, pot-smoking, keeping it real Jesus, it's how he fits into this fabric of a seemingly godless circumstance(the gang violence in Compton) that we find funny.
I'm really glad we have this on Television. -
Aug 8, 2014All I can say is that this show was hilarious the cast is awesome I can't see why people are boycotting the show when black jesus is portrayed as a kind and loving person who doesn't take **** from nobody. Now I can be at peace because "BLACK JESUS HAS RISEN!!!

Sep 16, 2014Trailer Park Boys set in Compton, but instead of being genuinely funny, its just cliched.
Heavily cliched.
Clattenburg meets Hollywood, and sells his soul for an American dollar. -
Sep 25, 2014Creator of the boondocks gets thrown away and creates his own spin-off ? What could possibly go wrong ? He even brings with him one of the best ex-voice actors new actor of the series. That n igga

Oct 13, 2014There are so many funny line's in this show like a woman saying: when's the last time you seen a N**** grow anything? and another one when Lloyd says: I believe in Jesus, I believe in Jesus Christ he's done a lot of miracles except he ain't done sh!t for me! There so many other funny sh!t they say, great show and I'm Australian and I can't wait too see a second season :-)

As offended as some may be, the show's stoner-friendly humor is innocuous.
-
The series, which is confident from the start, its world fully formed and well-performed, isn't a retelling.

As you’d expect from Mr. McGruder (working with the Canadian writer and director Mike Clattenburg of “Trailer Park Boys”), it’s pretty funny if you give it some time.
