Sep 19, 2011This seemed to have potential...but just came across as kinda cheap and bland. I wanted to like it, but it's really just a creative waste of time and not worth even looking into or checking out. Just pass on it. Blah.

Feb 6, 2017I'm shocked how good this was... and how bad the current batch of soap-opera super-hero shows are that I stopped watching after a few episodes each. And of course this was canceled after 1 season... but the various trash shows go on indefinitely.

Apr 10, 2015Pretty good show with a lot of potential. WB didn't give it time to develop it & blocked writers. DC comics blocked too the use of characaters. The BOP orignal cast will be together once again at Hollywood Show April 25, 2015 at Westin LAX in LA, Dina Meyer, Ashley Scott, Rachel Skarsten.

Mar 8, 2018Unexpectedly great. Well developed characters you get attached to. But alas, everything I like gets canceled after 1 season and mediocrity reins.

Ominously dark, loaded with splashy visual special effects and soundtrack whooshes and vrooms, with costumes by the Frederick's of Hollywood Martial Arts Division, Birds of Prey bogs down early in lengthy and tedious exposition, the sort of back-story explanation that scriptwriters call "laying pipe." Worth watching for anyone interested in comic-book fantasy with a solemn bent. [8 Oct 2002, p.E1]

With Birds of Prey, Kalogridis has crafted a tidy concept, crossing an idol with a villain to make a new breed --- slightly naughty, definitely conflicted but with some serious kick-ass power.
