    Ultimate Alien is definitely a nice farewell to this version of Ben.

    There are a lot of people out there that simply hate on this series because it did something very bold, it tried to expand the storyline andThere are a lot of people out there that simply hate on this series because it did something very bold, it tried to expand the storyline and universe of Ben 10 and did it in a dark tone. Sure the original series was a bright and flashy thing with laughs a plenty, but when you begin to grow up, you notice that the world isn't the lurid colours you saw as a kid and begin seeing the world as it is, not what you wish it was. This is what the core of UA is and it's a welcome addition to western animations horrible standing on animation 'only being for kids so it better not be risqué'.
