The broadcast season 4 of the show but produced as season 3 (Season 2 was split). There were huge changes as the previous season was made 3 years before, the network was changed and the show had another tone. While it is still a good season it does not reach the heights from before. Be warned some optical changes are irritating at first. For itself it has still good stories, character development, shows emotions and has good immersion. Maybe it is better than I think and the comparison to the previous seasons weakened it. My recommendations are: “Holiday Knights” where we get 3 holiday themed episodes. “You scratch my back” for the Nightwing and Catwoman dynamic. They work well together in this good story with great humor. “Double Talk” for Scarface (No not Al Pachino which would be an interesting idea). An underrated character and this is his episode. Works well and has good twists. “Growing Pains” is the episode that is so emotional and immersive that I will never watch it again. Would have liked to see more of Annie in later episodes or made into a character with her own show. “The Demon within” gets us Jason Blood, his alter ego and Klarion. Good episode and introduction of interesting characters that were unknown (maybe only in my country at that time). “Over the Edge” this is intense as Batman is hunted done by Commissioner Jim Gordon with a cold determination that would even make the Joker uncomfortable. He will stop at nothing to bring this menace that is Batman down. Excellent story, pacing and resolve. Warning: For some the resolve can be a downer ending. “Old Wounds” shows why Nightwing and Batman grew apart and why Batman needs a Robin more than anything else. Also the conclusion is as brilliant as heartwarming. “Girls Night Out”. Lady's night in Gothham as Livewire, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn join together. Batgirl and Supergirl must stop them as Batman and Superman are unavailable. I like all these characters and they work so well together. Finally “Mad Love” for the backstory of Harley Quinn. Such a good and tragic story. This is one of the reasons her character became such a big hit and fan favorite. Overall I wanted to rate it a bit lower but the recommendations are so good I will give a 9/10 because of them. While it is a weaker season overall it has some of the best episodes.… Expand
