Its smartness comes shining through despite the claptrap (none worse than the parade of sex scenes, soft-porn variety, whose noisiness is exceeded only by their unconvincingness); its story, littered with intriguingly repellent characters, like Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen), local evil tycoon, grows ever more enticing.

The best TV show you're not watching. Original story. Hard fighting scenes. Enough sexiness to be appreciated by both sexes. And the cinematic beauty should be award winning. And my favourite part: the only show where the females also get to butt whip the males. It's must-rewind choreography. Its awesome.

This show is my addiction; this one has me counting the days until the next episode or season. Yes, there is lots of violence and sex, but it is so more than that. The background story deepens with every season and its unpredictable and original. The actors are really putting their own blood sweat into the fight scenes, its not just cheap shaky camera effects. I think they are the hardest working actors out there today who go beyond memorizing lines and good acting skills. Waiting for Hoon Lee to be nominated for awards for being the most badass, brilliant cross-dressing computer hacker ever! I love his attitude problem :) Expand

If you can cast aside your skepticism for just a few minutes, you will learn to enjoy what a gem this show is and has become. Great character development and outstanding cinematography and setting. Loving this ride.

Keeps staying on top. They need a new Emmy category: Best Action Series, nominees are, Banshee, Ray Donovan, Power, Blindspot, Blacklist. Used to be Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad.
Banshee takes the top action though. I can't believe this is going to be the last season, so bummed!

Another great season, plenty of crime, violence and bad-ass-ary! Some great acting and the plot are too die for.

Great characters. Get your hooks into Banshee and you will not be disappointed.

I very much enjoyed season 1 and 2 but the third one kinda pissed me off quite often. Sometimes the editing gets very distracting and it seems the villains are just really bad and brutal this time. In terms of violence IMO it's trying too hard this time. It's very predictable and could have been handled in a more subtle way...

This season of Banshee is one of the best seasons that the cast and crew behind this kickass show had to deliver. The things that they did to exceed to deliver and mostly satisfy us are: new allies and foes, improved writing to the season (Characters, Plot, and Setting), intense action and gripping sequences, emotional sequences, and of course outstanding cinematography and visual effects. This season of Banshee is one of the best seasons that the cast and crew behind this kickass show had to deliver. Overall, this season was outstanding and there isn't anything much said about this action-packed show that Cinemax has delivered on their lineup. Trust me, you'll indeed love this season compared to the last two... Expand

If you aren’t watching Banshee, I’d say now’s the time to climb aboard. It’s a show that’s just hitting its stride, and that stride averages about 100 miles an hour.

As a drama, Banshee is preposterous. It is ludicrous. It regularly defies laws of both plausibility and physics, and there's usually at least one moment per episode where I have to pause the action because I can't stop laughing at how ridiculous it all is.... And that is why I've come to love it.
