I'm sorry but this is not right. There is no reason at all to change a historical character's race for the sake of inclusion. As someone mentioned above, how would you feel if they made a movie about president obama interpretes by a white person?
This is not right, please respect history.

This show is a woke joke. The ratings in the UK were terrible, and with good reason. You don't raceswap a historical person. It just makes no sense.

I would have loved to watch this series, but sadly due to political correctness, in lieu of historical correctness, I will be opting out...

What the **** is this???? Black woman is playing a white person who actually existed! And this supposed to be normal? Well then make a movie about Obama with Christian Bale in the leading role

Why they keep trying to do this kind of stuff? Or these corporate ants are trying to see who suck the balls to it's bosses the longest so they can get something out of it or they are just morons, the worst kind of morons.

Why is a black woman playing the role of a white one? If it were the other way around, Twitter would have already set the studio and the actors on fire.

This adaptation does its best to take her seriously as a woman, mother and, in some of its most interesting asides, as a boss to a roomful of dissatisfied ladies-in-waiting. And yet, neither Turner-Smith nor series’ sharpest scenes are the most explosive or devastating. ... Its most compelling moments come when Turner-Smith gets to embrace Anne’s pettier, more impulsive instincts.

What Anne Boleyn and Turner-Smith do so well in this series is make Anne a far more defined woman with her own ambition, intelligence, and keen strategic savvy.

Unfortunately, the casting is the most exciting thing about “Anne Boleyn.” ... Everyone does what he or she can with an anemic script, notably Barry Ward as Cromwell, who has the bad luck to be operating in the shadow of Mark Rylance and “Wolf Hall.” But so is “Anne Boleyn.”
