This season maintains the same level of goofy, nonsense humor as the first. I liked the main season arc about a weird killer, but I found the subplot about Angie's father uninteresting and pointless. The ending also seemed to try to hard to be irrelevant.

This season is just as great as the last with its goofy humor, fun guest stars (love Natalie Portman), and crazy plot. I looked forward to watching each episode and felt that it had a good variety with its plot.

One of the smartest dumb shows, TBS’ Angie Tribeca, created by Mass. natives Steve and Nancy Carell, returns for a third season tomorrow night with the same silly sight gags, absurd jokes and a parade of guest stars coming out to play.

Portman, Pine, and the slew of other celebrity guests who pop up in the first five episodes of Season 3--including Michaela Watkins with the best pop-in line of the year during Episode 3--help keep Angie Tribeca among the best comedies out there. They’re all deeply aware that the spoof only works when you take it seriously.
