    Growing. Like a cancerous tumor. I used to like Amy Schumer and I can't pinpoint where it all went wrong. I really don't think it's just her outspoken support of women's rights or lefty slant, as I usually respect that, even if I don't necessarily agree with everything she says. I don't generally clutch my pearls in the face of vulgarity either, but it has to be funny. Amy Schumer has lostGrowing. Like a cancerous tumor. In fact, I think she is playing everyone by setting the parameter that if you don't laugh at her jokes, you're a misogynist or chauvinist. She reminds me of my sister; a white woman who has been sheltered all her life, but thinks she's oppressed, though she can't point to any instance where she was denied anything as a result. You're expected to laugh because you owe her something, and that's just not funny. This special is just more of that entitlement with the addition of her pregnancy.… Expand

    I thought the first one was bad. I suffered through the entire 60 mins so I could at least give an honest review, but honestly every single joke she makes has been done before, but funnier. This person should not be a comedian. Terrible, not funny, just cringe.

    I'm being to generous here. She should stick to what shes good at, maybe a check out girl, down at your local supermarket?

    Thumbs down on Netflix isn't a sufficient enough response to hopefully be sure you don't see something this bad again.

    Coming from what seems to be the last Amy Schumer fan on the planet after her Leather Special (which I actually thought was pretty funny) this special is so much of a letdown.

    The dirtbag sexual nihilism of early Schumer thaws out in Growing, leaving her with little solid ground. Growing has a sleepy volubility; the erstwhile bar hound is now reminiscing with girlfriends about her wilder days over a nice but very long brunch.

    Too often, though, Growing is an exercise in well-trodden territory. In spite of showing off her own skin, and in spite of how personal this special is, Schumer’s revelations rarely get past the superficial.
