    This season has the most plot and the least scary. This season we explore the happenings of a coven. The actors, as always are just so entertaining in their roles, very strong. The theme of oppression could of been slightly better, (especially considering there were no black actors as main cast, despite that a message of the show is that oppression bad) - Angela Bassett should have beenThis season has the most plot and the least scary.     Essa temporada é bem inventiva, pois traz a rainha do Vodu 'Marie Laveau'    Cheia de histórias loucas de terror, uma das melhores séries de Ryan Murphy vemos a a história do Coven de Fiona Goode, uma bruxa que se recusou até o fim da sua vida à escolher a nova suprema, tarefa bem difícil a ela que queria sua soberania para sempre, no final a coroa foi para... bem não irei dar spoilers.

    Essa temporada é bem inventiva, pois traz a rainha do Vodu 'Marie Laveau' para quem não sabe ela existiu de verdade, o que torna a série mais autêntica, o roteiro, a abertura (me dá medo toda vez), na trama é usado muita união feminina tirando a parte que Fiona corta a garganta de Madison, além do combate do racismo em uma cena época na qual Madame Lalaurie que também existiu de verdade, na cena ela estava decapitada, só com a cabeça consciente e foi obrigada a ver as marchas do ativismo racial, porém no fim não conseguiu mudar.
    A unicidade desta temporada é a riqueza do conteúdo, e pontuo também na diversidade de personagens como Cordelia Foxx, Fiona Goode, Madison Montgomery, Misty Day entre outros, vale a pena ver e rever essa season!    … Expand

    Season 3 is really the best season. Characters are engaging, story is interesting, and the mystery unfolds in an intriguing way. Easily the most satisfying, best written and most engaging season in the series. It's a shame that the last few seasons have been a regression in every way.

    The best AHS season by far. American Horror Story: Coven is exciting, entertaining and a bit scary at the same time. You fall in love with the characters easily and everything is just portrayed so well. DEFINITELY of the best tv shows i’ve watched.

    teenage plot, develops much more break in the final episodes, perhaps take it easy to finalize the stories.

    Melhor abertura de série que eu já vi na minha vida... Um elenco razoável, uma história boa, no entanto, alguns episódios serviram de "fillers". Foi uma pena não terem destacado mais o Kyle (Evan Peters) à volta daquele drama adaptado para bruxinhas.

    I am honestly dumbfounded that after the wicked Asylum season, this cheesy teenage hot garbage mess followed. Even the charm of Emma Roberts don't do this any better. One-liners from this season also tried to do magic but nah. Hot mess. Stopped watching the whole series after this one season.

    I really love the anthology setup for tv series like this. It allows a complete story to be told in a season, so there is no annoying cliff hangers that are never answered.     I really love the anthology setup for tv series like this. It allows a complete story to be told in a season, so there is no annoying cliff hangers that are never answered. It allows a good story to be told because there is a start, middle and end, and it is especially good because if you have an idea that doesn’t work for everyone as a story, then they can come back the next season and may find something they do like.

    We have gotten away from the even vague suggestions of aliens and abduction in this season. Here we are in New Orleans and the story is about a power struggle in a witch coven, while there is a war with a voudon priestess and her support with a mixing of witch hunters involved.

    Almost all of the cast is back, but they have added Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett. The acting has gone up several notches, even though there are some teen witch angst (but in a AHS style) and when you have Angela Bassett, Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates all in the same room the acting just soars.

    Pros: The biggest pro is the changing stories between seasons, followed by a more supernatural/witch feeling in this.

    Cons: Probably a little too much focus on teen witches, I understand why they did it but I am getting close to 50 and teen witch stories don’t do it for me.

    I will definitely follow up with Season 4 “Freakshow”.    … Expand

    Favorite season of American Horror Story, definitely. Love the roles of Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe. I don't understand why lots of people dislike it tbh.

    Worst of the seasons some decent episodes some decent story but the racism is ever present. Its so strange that the bastions of the left love to go on about how racism is bad only to see how that sentiment stops if you were born white. Replace every instance of white person or cracker with that black and n i g g e r and their heads would explode.

    Clever, stylish, and filled with unsettling imagery, American Horror Story: Coven changes things up a bit from the first two installments. And in a good way! Abordando o tema bruxas na atualidade, a atuação do elenco ficou impecável, a fotografia e os cenários também. A história dos caçadores de bruxas e do Minotauro poderiam ser mais bem aproveitadas, mas a história em si me encantou.     The worst season so far. The plot went no where, There was no character development, and by the middle of the season you simply wanted it to end. It's such a major drop off from the previous seasons.

    Stylish, full of memorable characters, and an engaging plot make Coven the best American Horror Story season yet. Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson continue to impress while newcomers Gabourey Sidibe and Emma Roberts make welcome additions to the cast.

    That's what I was talking about. Horror and drama at the right dose, that's what American Horror Story is. Iconic. It is, for me, the best season of American Horror Story.

    Um tema como bruxas tem que ter um certo respeito a crença, falar sobre um estilo de vida ou religião é algo delicado essa temporada mostra que Coven não recebeu um certo cuidado ao falar das bruxas, a serie esta esborrando de clichê, bagunça e principalmente falta de ética. Para as bruxas é uma vergonha ver que tudo que tentamos mostrar o que não somos, é tudo que a midia continua aUm tema como bruxas tem que ter um certo respeito a crença, falar sobre um estilo de vida ou religião é algo delicado essa temporada mostra que Coven não recebeu um certo cuidado ao falar das bruxas, a serie esta esborrando de clichê, bagunça e principalmente falta de ética.     Emma Roberts/Chanel is the best thing ever when it comes to this season. Surprise, **** Unfortunately the rest of the season relies heavily on Kathy, Jessica, and Sarah's performances. No one cares about Precious or Zoe. Fiona seems to be heavily based on Madonna's quest for youth & her daughter is like Britney, useless with broken eyes (knees.)

    Every single season it's amazing. Ryan Murphy has done it again, **** amazing.
    This ones brings back Taissa Farmiga, and also enters Kathy Bates and Angela Basset.
    Besides the incredible amazing Oscar worth-it performance by Jessica Lange.

    This was clearly the worst season on AHS.. the whole season was like teen age drama... it lacked focus.. with so many thing happening simultaneously it screwed up everything... instead of trying to do so many many things if they kept the plot focused, it would have made sense...     My Lord, what happened to this previously fun show? This third season is something for teenage girls and nobody else. My wife and I endured the first show for about 20 minutes before looking at one another and essentially saying: Huh? We turned it off, and will not be returning. It seemed unfocused and written by amateurs, totally different from the first two seasons.

    It is beyond my comprehension how and why something so witty, dark and twisted as the second season got followed by a cheap teenage girl drama. Also, Farmiga and Roberts can't act... at all...

    Way better than first season, but not nearly as good as the secon one. Still quite good, still worth Your time. Especially thanks to Jessica Lange which was just avesome in this one.

No, instead of being a ghostly thriller like "Murder House" and instead of being a frightening gothic horror like "Asylum"- Coven can only be compared to a campy, cheesy, gore-filled slasher.

    The acting was great, the soundtrack was great, the sets were great, but, Coven isn't    "American Horror Story: Coven" takes on another kind of horror sub-genre that wasn't seen much in past seasons.     Why?

    Because several episodes in; the story takes a turn and jumbles into this big, big, big mess. It kind of feels like the writers had no idea what the plot was, so, they just came up with it as they went a long. Plus, don't get me started on the great actors who were made to play terrible, terrible characters.

    Coven isn't that well written, not at all. But, the fun, the humor, the cheap scares, and the blood and guts make up for it!    … Expand

    Compared to the other seasons this season seems tame. I found myself skipping dialog to get to something interesting because it was so boring. It still has some surprises worth watching but just felt dull midway to the end of the season. I also am sick of seeing that old lady always being the "sexy one" it was interesting they decided to do that the first season but now its over played,Compared to the other seasons this season seems tame.     Season 3 turns the show from horror to teen-drama. It's definitely not horror in the slightest, and is much more thriller/action. This seasons story is probably the most cohesive story, one that doesn't have as many arcs and plot holes... but it still just doesn't feel complete. It's not nearly dark enough to actually give you any sense of dread in the atmosphere. It's just kind of... bland.

    If the season-three premiere is any indication, although AHS has lost its novelty, it still has that seventies and eighties grindhouse/drive-in/midnight movie feeling.
