Alice in Borderland did an amazing job at blending the high intensity thriller and bloody violence with deep emotion that really tugged at your heartstrings; definitely one of my top 10 favorite shows I've ever watched. The writing especially the storytelling is outstanding and I gotta praise the respectful LGBTQ+ representation with trans character Kuina in a show from a country that isn't as open to those storylines and characters. Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya performances were exceptional, I love how Kento's heavily emotional and big hearted performance as Arisu and Tao's stoic level-headed but still emotional performance as Usagi perfectly contract each other. Aya Asahina, Nijirō Murakami, Ayaka Miyoshi, Sho Aoyagi, Shuntarō Yanagi, Ayame Misaki, Keita Machida, Riisa Naka, Mizuki Yoshida, Yūki Morinaga, Yutaro Watanabe, Nobuaki Kaneko, Dori Sakurada, Yûya Matsuura, Kazuma Sano, Yûhei Ohuchida, and Kina Yazaki gave stellar performances as well. The music is excellent, it does a perfect job at fueling the tone throughout the season especially in the most intense moments. Also love the Alice in Wonderland references with some of the characters names and characteristics. An A+ first season, can't wait for the next.… Expand
