    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. She is one ugly ultra white trash woman, and that has nothing to do with the abortion debate. I recorded it, and it was about 5 minutes of episode and 4 minute of commercials in the first hour; which killed the flow, and that is a big part of my bad rating. It was interesting that she never got an abortion.… Expand

    “AKA Jane Roe” starts with a fascinating story but fails to go deep into the mind of a woman who was constantly changing. One of the most significant figures in the 20th Century is divisive, but it would have been great to narrow the focus to her feelings about that divisiveness and not the people who profited.

    AKA Jane Roe is constructed like a mystery, building toward a previously unseen interview with the late Norma McCorvey -- made famous by the abortion-rights case Roe v. Wade -- that she describes as her "deathbed confession." But the documentary is most intriguing as a profile of a woman who spent time as a lightning rod for both sides of the most divisive of political issues.
