This is one of those shows that 'someone' you know will watch.
That someone that you go over to their house, sometimes.. there is nothing on, and they'll just turn it to cartoons and laugh once or twice.

That someone that you go over to their house, sometimes.. there is nothing on, and they'll just turn it to cartoons and laugh once or twice.

One of those shows that you dont really watch, you dont really laugh, and you dont really get it.. and then that friend lights up and the show doesnt start to make sense, but its nice to look at and the thing seems deeper than it is, because.. hey. You are in that altered state of mind.

The series starts off super random, then becomes cute, then becomes serious, then becomes trippy, then dark humor, then .. nothing.
There is no point to this. There is also no point to seinfeld. But seinfeld reveled in nothingness. It nitpicked inconsequential things and had a story.

Adventure time finally gets a story, but the super-short episodes, art style and final seasons (let alone the finale) all leave a bitter, wasteful taste in your mouth.

Do yourself a favor and just have a decent selection of longer, funnier TV shows and movies to watch while you smoke up. This one is hit or miss, and mostly miss.… Expand

Adventure Time is for personally the best series I've ever seen. It does present a certain creativity and smart jokes, that does search a counterpart. The characters are very well defined and introduced and you'll learn to love every one ofAdventure Time is for personally the best series I've ever seen. Whimsical surrealistic existentialism shrouded in colorful pallets and idiosyncratic randomness. It's one of my first loves in terms of long running television and to watch the shows growth as it tackles mature themes is a treat.

Adventure Time is a 10 season long animated show by Cartoon Network. It is one of the best shows I have ever sen, with great writing, interesting Characters and, in the later seasons, tons of story and Character devlopment.

Adventure Time is a cartoon classic. The fun jokes and replacement cuss words to the more serious moments it is great. The characters are unique and some of them have some pretty deep lore that can also be sad, speaking of lore there is a lotAdventure Time is a cartoon classic. This is THE best cartoon i've ever watched nothing tops it, anyone who votes lower than 8 or even 7 clearly haven't watched this entire show and looked at the lore.

I love this show and I want to quickly get down my thoughts on this absolute masterpiece.

There are better written shows, more gripping storylines, more complexly written character arcs, but no piece of fiction has ever come close toI love this show and I want to quickly get down my thoughts on this absolute masterpiece.

There are better written shows, more gripping storylines, more complexly written character arcs, but no piece of fiction has ever come close to Adventure Time, for me. There's much to love in this show. Most of the characters, if not all, are wildly funny and charming. It's easy to immediatly fall in love with the main cast. You also stay in love with the characters, as you watch them all grow and evolve over time. The lore is also really heavy and fleshed out in this show. The story behind this OOO and all it's residents is really interesting. The lore spans literal billions of years. The atmosphere in the show is, for me, something really special. I have always held a reverence and kind of fear for the passage of time. For me, the scariest thing in the world is being left behind, both metaphorically and in actuality. So the themes of everything staying, repeating, and folding over on itself and changing really capture me everytime. Lastly i want to mention the aspect of this show that hits me the most. Adventure Time is a philosophical masterpiece, and I don't mean in the way your stoner friend watches cartoons and calls everything deep, or whatever. Adventure Time is a simple story on the surface, but there is so much lying beneath the surface when you start digging. It's never super in your face about it's emotionally complex and heavy themes. It manages to stay light and fun even when discussing and questioning really heavy stuff. If you want a simple show to have on in the background, Adventure Time can be that, but it can also be a show that finds way to convey complex emotions and philosophical questions in a very fun and interesting way. I love when other shows dable with the same consepts and ideas as Adventure Time, but the thing that makes Adventure Time compelling for me is how it can tell complicated stories in a seemingly fun and simple way. Adventure Time is absolutely not for everyone, but I think there is a little something everyone can apprechiate in this show. Words can not describe my feelings for this show and it's incredible world, characters, themes, ideas, stories and so on. I'll be watching it for the rest of my life and shilling it to everyone along the way, as I do already.… Expand

Shows what happens when you take the annoying main characters of regular show, and put them in a colourful land.
