With Dead Rising 3, the Xbox One has a great launch title. Expect hundreds, even thousands, of zombies on your screen who are all waiting to get mowed down by you. Still, the graphics are a bit clingy sometimes.- XGN

Need for Speed: Rivals is a lot of fun. What it definitely isn’t, is the most refreshing game of the year. It’s fast, it’s flashy, it’s Need for Speed. We just find it too bad that the game’s playable with just 6 persons … That’s something that makes Rivals’ world feel kind of desolate. Nevertheless; if you’re a big fan of arcade racing, we’d completely recommend you to buy Need for Speed: Rivals.- XGN

Gas Guzzlers Extreme is an action-packed, fast paced racing game with insane combat features. The game features a variety of cars, from humble superminis, to full on giant yank tanks! The player starts with a low performance vehicle and gradually works their way up by earning money through a series of uniquely challenging races.- XGN

Even though we appreciate the attempt to bring new life to the turn-based strategy genre, Battle Worlds: Kronos has proven not the be the best way to do it. A true fan would still be able to get a lot of fun out of this game, but the predictive A.I. and boring missions won't attract any new players.- XGN

It's not acceptable anymore to deliver a standard platform game and just get away with it. Invizimals has nothing special. It had potential, but the developer was too lazy to make a really big game of the huge universe.- XGN

With stunning visuals and some intense shoot outs with the Helghast, Killzone: Shadow Fall delivers on of the best experiences for first-person shooters on the PlayStation 4. However, with some boring sequences and certain strange gimmicks – the Owl – it fails to be the best first-person shooter. A good launch game for Sony’s next-gen console, but certainly not the best.- XGN

With Nexus two beloved characters of Sony, Ratchet & Clank, are back and we love it. With the motto of ‘never change a winning team’ developer Insomniac Games doesn’t change too much about the game. It’s still fun to play, with some original weapons and good graphics. It is, however, too short to be brilliant and doesn’t have too many innovations.- XGN

Final Exam is a fun game whilst playing with friends offline or online. It proves a challenge due to a diverse group of enemies and interesting combo plus RPG-system. But when you play the game alone, it tends to get boring pretty quick.- XGN

The only thing that improved since the Wii versions of Mario & Sonic are the graphics. That alone is not worth your money.- XGN

This game is a cliche in every way possible. The animations are not so great, the story and the cast came directly from a B-movie, and the game lacks originality overall.- XGN

Like an insane stunt pilot in the Red Bull Air Race, World of Warplanes manages to leave an excellent impression. But Wargaming has to keep proving themselves in the future if they want us to remain impressed. It's easy to find great satisfaction, however, when you roam the game's skies with Ride of the Valkyries on the background, while you're bringing death and destruction in your own personal aircraft.- XGN

After the not-so-original New Super Mario Bros games, it is lovely to see Mario and his friends in an adventure that is truly worth playing. The vast range of power-ups is great, especially the catsuit which makes Mario not only adorable looking, but also handy. His claws are an awesome extra to fight the fun, new enemies. It is a pity that this game is a bit easy, but you can challenge yourself by playing co-op with annoying friends or go on a green star hunt. It's not Mario Galaxy, but very surprising and of very high quality like we know of that plumber.- XGN

The price for most original game goes to Tearaway. With some amazing puzzles, fascinating enemies and a pinch of good ol’ platforming, this game is a must-have for the Vita. Only problem are the controls; a bit stiff. But still, it’s a great game.- XGN

Worms Revolution: Extreme is anything except a revolution. It still holds on to that year old concept and doesn’t change its route. Is that bad? Not really, it still is a good game with plenty of features and destructive environments.- XGN

Mysterious and gauntly terrifying, Lone Survivor delivers what it promises. A two-dimensional adventure with 8bit graphics is quite strange, especially in the area of horror games. Lone Survivor is one of those surprises for the PlayStation Vita.- XGN

Quite a difficult game, but it still has it charms. However, it feels outdated – it came out in Japan in 1997 – and it can overcome that fact. The voice acting is really magnificent in this game, but that’s one of those spare pros.- XGN

Star Wars Pinball is better on the Wii U than on its handheld brother, but still a fun game to play. With different machines and the great soundtrack this game is okay. It’s up to you if you want to pay a good seven euro’s for the game.- XGN

With the new Assassin’s Creed we find ourselves in the Caribbean with a new main character called Edward Kenway. Black Flag focuses on the sea battles we saw in the third game and continues with this, with some new additions. Overall, you’ll be busy for a while – 40 hours, give or take – but the story isn’t that compelling.- XGN

With a great background, warzone in Vietnam, this is a fun game to pick up and fly around, shooting commies. The sound effects of the Air Conflicts are really good, but with walls in the levels it curtails the openness of this game.- XGN

Hexodius is one of those games you can pick up quickly and play for a short time. With great sound effects and upgrades it is a fun game. But it has that problem for the consoles: it’s too short and too boring to play for quite a while. If Hexodius was placed right in front of us and you would say it was a mobile game, we would have believed you.- XGN

The intentions of DICE and EA are quite clear when you start the game up: the multiplayer defines this fourth official installment in the franchise. With the new Levolution system and destructive environments this is a great shooter. However, gamers who want something more need to choose for the next-gen consoles.- XGN

You need to ask yourself the question if you want to play such a disgraceful game. The levels are monotone and the game will make you scream and yell at your 3DS. Add too little content and you know you need to stay far away from this title.- XGN

A Link Between Worlds has the ungraceful task of being the ‘sequel’ to one of the greatest Zelda games ever, A Link to The Past. It adds a few cool features, with the wall-drawings as highlight of the game. However, it doesn’t add too many new concepts to an old formula.- XGN

The co-driver and the learning curve in WRC 4 are pretty decent, and the addition of real drivers and teams is something that will appeal to the real fan. But it isn't enough to be satisfied with the game. WRC 4 suffers from uninspiring modes, weird choices, strange handling and a damage- and physics model that just isn't right. It’s a shame that this game - once again - doesn't realize his potential.- XGN

Patience is a virtue with Wii Party U. The game is a lot fun, especially with your friends or family on the couch. However, some games simply depend on luck, which aren’t quite fair. If you’ll be playing solo you’ll encounter some rather slow computer, which you can’t even skip. It takes the speed out of a good game.- XGN

With the first story add-on for Bioshock Infinite we find ourselves back in Rapture and we absolutely loved it. Some parts are even scarier than Infinite, with the Splicers as the point of attention. However, with only two hours, it’s too short for a magnificent add-on.- XGN
