Dream Daddy isn't going to placate gamers that want to see more gay heroes saving the day in cinematic action titles, but as a story-focused game packed with charming, funny, and ultimately very human moments, it's a delight – and as a dating sim, it stands as one of the best in the genre.- Wired UK

While no amount of remastering can eradicate the more frustrating elements of Crash Bandicoot at its core – the too-easy deaths, the restrictive linearity, the antiquated sense of decades old games exploring a then-new third dimension – the N.Sane Trilogy packs in enough refinements and new content to make these the definitive editions of the classic trilogy. Younger players in particular will lap this collection up, while those nostalgic for the games of their youth will get a kick out of these contemporary spins.- Wired UK

Hey! Pikmin feels like a distraction, a time filler until the next 'proper' Pikmin arrives on Nintendo Switch – whenever that may be. While often delightful and frequently pleasant, its simple charms can't make up for extreme simplicity and a turgid pace. One best suited for Pikmin purists, if such a breed exists.- Wired UK

Get Even has a lot of ambition, but never quite realises it. While there are lots of individual beats to like – most notably the exceptional music and sound design - its multiple influences never quite congeal into anything solid.- Wired UK

For all Nintendo’s protestations, 1-2-Switch absolutely should have been bundled with the Nintendo Switch. It's an excellent demonstration of the hardware and the sort of game that could be chucked on when you’ve got friends over and want to show them what the console is all about. Instead, you’ll have to fork out £35 for a limited, albeit fun, tech demo.- Wired UK

Ultimately, Lego Worlds isn't as 'pure' a building sandbox as its rivals, but its also not as well-polished and focused as the likes of Lego Star Wars or the Lego Marvel games. Straddling the line between the two, this will pick up some fans of either, but doesn't yet feel competent enough to take their places.- Wired UK

Although Way of the Hado is ultimately fluff, a lot of Ultra Street Fighter II's problems in the core game could be solved simply if the Switch had a dedicated, six-button fighting pad with a precise D-pad. As that's not an option at this point, we're left with what feels like a brilliantly presented version of a hugely important and impressive game, that no one can really get the best out of.- Wired UK

When the original is so readily available, and still so thoroughly playable, Playtonic's recreation of the recipe can't help but fall flat.- Wired UK
