Saying that, if you've enjoyed the characters in the past, there's more than a good chance you'll like these adventures, especially as they get better as you move along, even if the video presentation doesn't make a similar improvement.

Assuming the crashing issues that I observed on my system were isolated (I didn’t hear many reports of this happening to others) then Saints Row 2 gets a highly recommended grade from this reviewer.

Saints Row 2 isn’t a GTA killer, that’s for sure. However, it stands well enough on its own due to its different take on this style of game.

Concentrated adrenaline comes whisked together with intricate level design and haunting atmosphere in Dead Space, which will probably pop up on many a Game of the Year list later this year.

The AI is the biggest offender here, and its unnatural behavior just doesn't lend itself well to the kinetic energy required for a football title.

Overall, "FIFA 09" only appears to have minor adjustments to the game play, but they provide more responsive controls.

Homecoming isn't pure Silent Hill, but it offers a Highly Recommended restructuring of the series that keeps up with the speed of a more inventive gaming universe while staying very true to the brand's core visual and thematic essence.

One look at the cover of We Cheer and it's far too easy to skip right past it on the way to another rhythm game, but that would be a mistake, especially if you're looking for a challenge, as few games offer such a solid mix of difficulty and song selection.

While a few songs suffer from note repetition, the overall mix is robust and fun to play. For anyone who enjoyed Guitar Hero or Rock Band, Rock Band 2 is a no-brainer.

As the second true title to promote healthy activity and get people off the couch and moving, Outdoor Challenge does have a good array of games to get people up and moving. Sadly, the motivation may dwindle after a period of play.

Facebreaker should be reserved to only the very dedicated and level headed gamer, as the enjoyment level goes from quite high to excruciatingly not fun in a matter of seconds.

This game might not have caused such disappointment if the concept wasn't such an intriguing idea, but when you combine these fun elements, and the game is a) not all that fun to play and b) distinctly limited, people are going to be let down.

”Warhammer: Battle March” doesn’t come close to being an enjoyable game. The core game play while basic is too repetitive, and the wonky controls will test your patience quickly.

As a freebie for preordering Fable II, Pub Games is an average bonus and will appeal to the fans of the original Fable on the Xbox. As a standalone game on Xbox Live marketplace, Pub Games certainly isn’t worth the 800 points ($10).

Die-hard fanatics of platformers should download the demo of Braid and check it out before pulling the 1200 point trigger. The rest of the gaming population needs to wait for Microsoft to reduce the price or find some Marketplace points on sale before purchasing Braid.

Sticking way too literally to the idea of the Little League World Series means there's hardly enough "game" here to interest any adult looking for baseball action, while the complexity of the pitching controls might be enough to turn off kids who like the anime looks of the game.
