Sure it has some rather noticeable flaws that detract from the experience, but it has a certain element of charm that kept me hooked until the end.

The Life is an innovative addition to the genre that indicates to me that Sony is serious about sports games again.

A pretty good strategy game for a system that seems to be lacking this niche in the RPG genre.

A good game that could have been even better. There was a lot of story regarding the Leowyn left untapped, which could mean another game is in the pipeline, which would be nice; there’s a nice blue print for Ethereal Darkness to work with.

Unlike some other games in the genre, where discerning how a levels’ puzzle works is only half the battle, Frantix can be a walk in the park after you solve each level’s puzzle, which is disappointing.

A very well put together port of the console version. The story is the main thing that takes the cake here; the extra multiplayer modes are nice but are mostly forgettable.

Online play is worse than ever before as you can’t even set up matches with friends, and hacking is still prevalent.

It's a shame that the rough edges weren't smoothed out, but I expected there to be far more problems than there are. The few issues here aren't game-killing.

For the true flight simulator addicts, they’ll definitely want to get the deluxe edition of the game as it is probably about the only thing that would be able to sate their hunger for more unique flight experiences.

While it isn’t very original, it can be very enjoyable in short bursts. Unfortunately, the camera problems prevent it from being ideal for long-term play, and make extended play sessions very frustrating due to how needlessly hard it is to see what you’re doing thanks to the poorly-placed camera.

There is a fairly eclectic gathering of music (at least as far as DDRs go) though the collection may not suit your tastes. For new players looking to get into DDR, you may as well start with the latest edition.

It’s simply a blueprint as to where the future of Yu-Gi-Oh games can go on the DS. Hopefully Konami can capitalize on a golden opportunity for a sequel.

An extremely well-written script. I constantly found myself laughing, tears of joy pouring heartily from my eyes (slight exaggeration). Still, the gameplay is boring and repetitive, and there’s virtually no replay value.

Remix doesn’t offer the new gameplay experience I was hoping for, and if felt like I was just going through the motions all over again, but now with my hands constantly cramping up on me.

If you’re a Dig Dug fan, you’ll be quite satisfied with Digging Strike. If you’re not, this won’t sway you.

Most likely, only fans of the series that have a PSP will be picking this one up.

A lot of them still have a nostalgic feel, and 2D games tend to age better than 3D visuals. Ditto with audio, though for more experienced gamers like me, these classic tunes bring back many fond arcade memories.

Many people won’t bother getting far enough into the game to appreciate the visuals, but if you give it a chance there’s a good game here. The camera problems unfortunately keep it from being great, but it’s a welcome diversion from the FPS and sports titles that have flooded the PS3 launch.

Bomberman is made for multiplayer, but with everyone and their brother getting rid of the PSP platform I just can’t bring myself to recommending this to anyone save people with three other buds with PSPs of their own.

One thing that the other launch titles have shown is that navigating the menus in DS games can be very simple and straightforward. Here though the whole system is clunky, with some icons placed on the touch screen being so small you need to use the stylus.

This is a perfect rental game, since it’s fantastic in short bursts, and its flaws are only exposed during long play sessions.

If you’re looking for a game that has many different game elements to it and a story you’ll need to take a few drops of acid to understand, this is your game.

To really enjoy this game you have to be a fairly avid RTS fan. Second, you also have to be an RTS fan that really couldn’t give a rat’s ass about gathering supplies.

While it may not sell out or win any awards, it is an excellent pick up and play game for kids.

The problem with this game is there is not much to it. Your only real goal is to get a high score, which in this day and age is not enough.

Spider-Man looks great on the PSP, no doubt about it. However, the thugs he encounters along the way suffer from low polygon counts and limited animations.

Nostalgia-lovers and angst-ridden teens looking for an outlet can’t go wrong with Smash TV. There’s not really that much depth to it, but who cares? You get to blow things up!

Over the Hedge features good co-operative action based off a movie that's sure to gather many fans. It's an excellent game for parents to play with their kids after seeing the movie.
