Ni no Kuni hasn’t aged a bit. While PC and PS4 versions make the most of it visually, the Switch version looks fantastic. No matter what version you go for, Ni no Kuni is great.

Marvell Pinball is a recommended acquisition, almost a must for genre fans, and also a great chance for newcomers to try how has this genre evolved in the high definition era.

This is one of the most fun and polished games in the PSP, and offers what series followers are looking for. As in many cases, its only drawback is that we have already seen this formula many times, althought not so many in a portable console.

Trials HD is, hand down, one of the most solid titles of the Xbox Live Arcade platform, and one of the funniest we've played in the platform lifetime.

This is one of the best platformers ever made. We loved it when it came out on Wii U and we love it now. There aren't any relevant additions, but a game this good does deserve a second chance.

Unique, clever and original. Her Story is a game like no other, that delivers a smartly crafted gameplay and narrative, and that anyone who finds its concept interesting should play.

With its revolutionary open-world structure, connected circuits, new acrobatic gameplay, and diverse modes like Survival, Mario Kart World delivers the most ambitious and exhilarating entry in the franchise yet, though it slightly disappoints with the removal of vehicle part customization and a conservative online progression system.

Punch-Out!! is an old school game which is far from what we are used to play recently. However, definitely this is not bad news, as the game is as fun as it was then, and moreover its graphics are well updated.

This is a good retro game which isn't very deep, but also doesn't try to. It is a simple, yet addictive game, which challenges the user.

A perfect opportunity to enjoy one of the best classic shoot'em ups. A game with a gameplay that hasn't aged, a great soundtrack and an extreme level of difficulty that results very rare today. Maybe its difficulty will become a hurdle for some gamers, but it is a must-have for those who consider themselves proud fans of the genre.

It's a great expansion that takes a step forward from all we've seen previously. There are more situations in the campaign, a more competitive multiplayer and it's more accessible for new players. It's not perfect, but it'll keep us playing for a long while.

A fantastic metroidvania that, in terms of gameplay, does almost everything masterfully and marks the triumphant return of one of the most legendary video game sagas. It has exquisite controls, outstanding level design, incredibly rewarding platforming sections, a very fun combat system with a very varied bestiary and memorable bosses, and a generous amount of content. Its story and narrative leave something to be desired, graphically it is not very impressive and it does not escape some programming errors, but if you like the genre and missed this mythical saga, here you have a great game with which to start the year in the best possible way.

Despite having lost the surprise factor of the first game, its astounding level design and almost infinite possibilities make Dishonored 2 one of the best games of the year by its own merits.

Bayonetta 3 may have fallen a little behind the previous adventures of this charismatic witch, but even so, it has turned out to be a very complete game that, when focused on pure and simple action, gives us absolutely incredible moments thanks to a system of novel, accessible, fun and very deep combat and a staging that takes the show by the flag to leave us totally stunned with its choreography and the scale of the conflicts in which we will find ourselves submerged. And in the end, those virtues are the ones that end up prevailing in the face of the irregularities of its development and those that remain in our memory after the title credits, which leaves us with a very positive balance.

One of the best games available on iOS, and almost on any other portable device. It vanishes the line between portable devices and portable video game systems. A beautiful and entertaining story and a rich gaming offer, together with its stunning graphics, make Horn worth it of any iDevice.

The Alters delivers a compelling survival strategy game with a deep philosophical narrative about identity, enhanced by complex resource management, meaningful dialogue, and a unique mechanic centered around interacting with alternate versions of yourself, although its difficulty spikes and demanding systems can become overwhelming.

Ball x Pit combines chaotic Breakout-style gameplay with roguelite decision-making, offering satisfying progression through city-building and unlocking new heroes, while its intense visual and gameplay stimuli keep players engaged, though the challenge can sometimes swing too easily between frustrating and overpowered.

One of the best IPs Nintendo has done recently. It's fresh, clever and challenging and the only thing we could ask for is a "Rotblox" where we can 'rotate' the pieces!

Sucker Punch refines and expands on Ghost of Tsushima with a richer story, deeper combat, and a more varied open world, delivering a visually stunning and cinematic experience full of memorable moments and emotional depth, though some camera issues and limited narrative freedom slightly hold it back.

The latest Mortal Kombat is, in our opinion, the best in the series so far. This is more ambitious than the previous ones, has a perfect roster of fighters and offers more content than any other fighting game.

This is a Final Fantasy that you either love or hate, but we think it's a great game that got many things right and was ahead of its time. This remake won't change your mind, but it is a very good remaster and the perfect excuse to play a very interesting Final Fantasy you might've missed.

Arc Raiders successfully blends intense extraction shooter mechanics with a more accessible and colorful approach, delivering thrilling tension around extraction points while offering smooth shooting and RPG-like progression. Although some weapon balancing issues and long-term scalability concerns remain, the game shines with its audiovisual quality, satisfying gameplay, and strong potential for multiplayer fun.
