I found myself fascinated at first and impressed with the level of depth the game offered. However, the lack of combat challenge wore on me, and I disliked having to relearn all the menus whenever I had to put the game down for a while.- TouchArcade

This series is getting better, but since it takes the small development team at least a year to produce an episode, this intriguing mystery may not be resolved for a few more years; but we'll be waiting.- TouchArcade

Add tight and responsive touch controls to a list that includes fabulous art design, awesome music, a new twist on an old mechanic, and the ability to bring in your own tracks and you end up with an experience easily worth your time and money.- TouchArcade

It's great on the go, fun to play regardless, and a neat little break from the studio's more recent games. I recommend it.- TouchArcade

The early levels of Galaxy Express felt too easy and I often slammed down arrows without much thought. But once you reach harder levels and try to match the best scores (fewest arrows used), it becomes far more challenging and provides plenty of replay value.- TouchArcade

Regardless of these gripes, Pod Odyssey is a solid arcade-style maze crawler that gets a lot of the basics correct. If you're looking for a challenging (but short) game to test your precise reflexes, and you don't mind putting the accelerometer in your iPad to good use, give Pod Odyssey a try.- TouchArcade

I've had an absolutely fantastic time playing King of Dragon Pass. Its slow pace makes it a perfect mobile game.- TouchArcade

I can't say enough about Tiny Heroes. It's a fantastic game, with few flaws to speak of. Challenging, but rarely frustrating, it had me returning to levels again and again to improve my score. By turning genre conventions on their heads, Tiny Heroes succeeds brilliantly.- TouchArcade

It never quite breaches the level of pure fun and action of the titles it so clearly draws inspiration from, but it lives up to the Chillingo standards we've come to expect.- TouchArcade

NFL Rivals certainly adds new social gaming features as well as a fresh coat of paint in the NFL license and an upgraded graphics system. However, in the end, the gameplay is nearly identical to Backbreaker Football and may not be worth your while.- TouchArcade

Calling To-Fu 2 a sequel seems a little off. While it's not just about the game's artistic direction, To-Fu 2 doesn't offer enough new stuff to really make it feel like anything but an expansion pack to the original. It's a good thing the first game was good and the core formula is certainly worth repeating, but don't expect anything new or special here.- TouchArcade

jAggy Race is a fun casual game, but it's also an exciting and challenging game for competitive gamers who want to familiarize themselves with each track for better results.- TouchArcade

I have long counted Jeff Minter's Minotaur Rescue and Minotron: 2011 as two of the very best games in the App Store, and I can tell you that GoatUp solidly lives up to the greatness of those titles. It's quite a different sort of game, but the pieces come together just as nicely.- TouchArcade

Fruity Jelly is a solid puzzle-platformer that utilizes its mechanic to great effect creating a challenging game that's easy to pick up. It could have stood to have slightly tighter controls, but its easy to ignore for a bulk of the game.- TouchArcade

Running around without a head and with bombs for hands is far more fun than you'd think, and even if the game doesn't ramp up the challenge as much as most of its ilk, the total quirk and oddness of it all should make for an enjoyable experience for most.- TouchArcade

If you're a fan of dual-stick shooters and you're looking for something new to play, Cowboy Guns is certainly worth a try. However, newcomers to the genre or folks that can't stand cheesy Western stories may not get as much satisfaction out of it.- TouchArcade

My Horse is a wonderful game for horse-lovers and is worth a free download just to check out the realistic horse. But if you're planning on playing this game for a long time, be prepared to spend some real money on gems, or accept that you probably won't be able to buy the best looking equipment, no matter how many coins you earn.- TouchArcade
