Although publishers like SEGA shouldn't slip into a habit of shoveling their old games onto the Wii with minimal updates, SEGA Bass Fishing does provide a satisfying solo experience at a budget price.- The Wiire

A sense of antiquation to the whole design reverberates throughout, which some people will enjoy out of nostalgia or for the simplicity compared to modern RPGs; others will be disgusted by what they find to be a regression for the genre.- The Wiire

Multiplayer allow up to four people to play one after another in show jumping competitions, much like in the single-player mode. This ultimately adds little to the experience, especially since each player needs to have his or her own controller.- The Wiire

Should the developers decide to pursue a sequel, they will need to make an important design decision: either change the gameplay to differentiate the game from the show enough to justify the price; or include far more content to grant value comparable to the DVD sets.- The Wiire

Zero Gravity does not earn any of The Wiire's awards simply because the game does not excel in any category.- The Wiire

Despite the aggravations, Puzzle Quest remains a creative and addictive puzzle-RPG adventure. The story, while not deep or heavily dramatic, offers enough plot to encourage gamers through the adventure.- The Wiire

For those who are bored with scores, "lives", and theoretically infinite game stages, skip this shooter and tuck the forty bucks safely away for something else.- The Wiire

Mini-games are fun, but they often grow too old, too quickly; Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a clear example of this, but those looking for an easy-going multiplayer game might find some value here.- The Wiire

The Umbrella Chronicles is mainly fanservice and doesn't do anything particularly innovative. There's no online integration and the Wii Zapper doesn't add anything significant to the experience. The shooting controls are tight and responsive, and the game makes better on the console's power than many third-party titles, but that's the extent of it.- The Wiire

A game like this makes leaps and bounds over the conventional trivia game, but not as a single-player experience. The lack of an online mode, WiiConnect24 support, impressive graphics and outstanding audio ensures that Smarty Pants remain little more than a fun multiplayer title. What the game does, though, it does well.- The Wiire

Playing with others is certainly more fun than playing alone, but there is nothing inventive about the approach to multiplayer, and the lack of full online play is disappointing.- The Wiire

All in all, Radiant Dawn is a worthwhile entry in the venerable series - it just could have been far more. Hopefully the developers will try again and put more of Wii's abilities to some use.- The Wiire

Table Tennis is infinitely enjoyable in multiplayer, but there is little to do for single players.- The Wiire

FIFA 08 has laid the groundwork - online and off - for what could be a fantastic franchise on Wii, but until EA figures out how to reconcile FIFA's requisite button combinations with the button-starved Wii controllers, the advanced techniques are useless and on-field options have been cut in half.- The Wiire

Those who dislike linear gameplay, lots of color and cartoon-like characters, however, should think about jacking elsewhere.- The Wiire

When the story is done most players will have no desire to repeat the experience. The levels are far too repetitive and there just isn't enough plot.- The Wiire

Who should consider Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire? Those who like hack 'n' slash games; those who want to experience a hearty challenge and a satisfying evolution of the sword-swinging controls laid down in Twilight Princess; and those who possess the manual dexterity and mental discipline for this rather repetitive fantasy adventure.- The Wiire

Dewy's Adventure lacks the focus of a dedicated puzzle game or platformer, but to its credit, it is the only game that has tried to put those genres together. The developers pursued a risky experiment, and the results are sometimes frustrating.- The Wiire

If you are a player new to The Sims franchise who enjoys cute things and the act of building, MySims could be well worth your cash. Animal Crossing has been known to capture the attention of players for months on end - those who can look past the load times might find the same value in MySims. If you are not the person described above, consider a rental.- The Wiire

In spite of its flaws, The BIGS is a highly recommend to anyone who enjoys virtual baseball or has done so in the past. The batting and pitching mechanics are a revelation. The Wii Remote is the best thing to happen to baseball video games since pitchers were given complete repertoires.- The Wiire

The game should be played by everyone, simply so players can take in the impressive environment and the feeling of casting spells, but the game is worth little more than a rental to all except Dumbledore's dearest devotees, whose experience may certainly be worth a collectible.- The Wiire

Social gamers who expect to spend a lot of time in multiplayer may be comfortable footing the bill, but most people who enjoyed the original brain training titles on the DS as a cheap, fun distraction may, unfortunately, be forced to wait until Wii Degree shows up in the bargain bin - or until the game receives a more fleshed-out sequel.- The Wiire
