  1. This is Bond as we've never seen him, more naked, alive and mysterious than ever.

  3. In telling the story of one damaged suburban genius and his unlikely rebirth, Love & Mercy captures the vanished possibilities of 1960s pop music, the fecklessness of the California dream and its decay into tragedy and madness, and other things less easy to describe or define.
  4. A winning western with just a few dark eddies beneath the surface, one that features a star-making lead performance and some spectacular photography, but falls just short of being great.

There’s nothing more you can ask.

    When you see The Piano Teacher in a movie theater you get a chance to go back in time, back to the days when French movies were titillating, provocative and kind of smart.
  28. It's a nice movie. But Disney has never learned that "nice," especially in comedy, is a negative virtue.
