Delivers a fresh approach to the RTS genre and with its great detail, addictive gameplay and excellent replay value it is definitely worth a look for any RTS game fan.

Overall, this is a really fun racer, I can't emphasise enough how much the customisation adds to the game.

A truly exhilarating playing experience, the sheer size of the game means that almost every experience of the game is unique.

With its ease of accessibility, it will appeal to most fans of the film with the exception perhaps, of only the hardcore strategists out there.

Blur is a solid fast paced racing game with strong A.I that pushes your driving skills to the maximum. When combined with the games combat element it makes playing Blur an intense and energetic experience that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Apart from the issues (which hopefully, there will be a cure for sooner or later), World Adventures is a very promising start to The Sims 3 expansion.

Graphics are smooth and clean and detail in the game is never compromised with interactive surroundings, excellent weapon effects and great animation of the action taking place.

It isn’t perfect, but despite a number of shortcomings and some control foibles, there is undoubtedly something about Monster Hunter- Freedom Unite to keep you going back for more punishment.

Assassin’s Creed II once again allows players to step into the silent shoes of an assassin, and moves in the right direction providing a more focused and solid playing experience.

Metro 2033 may not be the most innovative survival shooter to ever have graced the genre, but that doesn’t mean it should be dismissed in the blink of an eye. The game serves up an unforgiving world with gameplay that at times matches it perfectly.

Despite being a massive fan of the franchise I couldn’t help but feel that the whole thing is starting to get old, despite the new features the games structure is basically the same.

The mix of strategy and survival shooter works surprisingly well, some niggling flaws however stop this XBLA title living up to its full potential.

Borderlands maybe a relatively simple mix of shooter action and RPG elements, however, it will mainly appeal to shooter fans rather than those looking for an immersive roleplaying experience.

Many games have promised a no limits playing experience, and many have failed to deliver this. However, Just Cause 2 has easily achieved this allowing you to travel to the remotest of locations and play the game in an extremely creative way, which makes it very easy to over look the repetitive nature of the mission.

Napoleon: Total War may have its flaws, but it offers the best of the strategy genre, giving you access to both turn based and real-time play that fit together seamlessly and will keep any armchair general firmly placed in the command seat.

Each element fits in perfectly, however the amount of time the game requires you to put in may put off more casual gamers, but it's definitely a classic for strategy enthusiasts.

No matter what Eurocom did, it's Wii version of GoldenEye 007 was never destined to be the iconic title the N64 original was. However, that doesn't mean the game should be dismissed, as it is by far the best shooter available on the Nintendo console and probably the best Wii game I've played to date.

One of the very few management games that actually allow players to get up close to the action and you can really feel part of what is going on.

There is just so much here that it really doesn’t feel like an add on pack, it feels like the other half of The Sims 2!

IL2-Sturmovik is a solid aerial combat game that is accessible enough for anyone to pick-up and play, whilst still offering hardcore simulation fans the option to play the game in a fashion they feel comfortable with.

The only problem I can and would raise is that although it shows you what to do, your form or stance maybe wrong when tackling some of the exercises. Also the resistance band provided seems cheap and flimsy, so much so that I could not trust it for some of the exercises.

It's still not MW2, but it's a good try.

The combat herein is a tour de force, oozing over-the-top charm and playing with as much balance as any of the more traditionally respected fighters out there. However, the experience will, most likely, be at least tainted for newcomers by a tacked-on one-player challenge that is not so much badly implemented, just poorly thought-out.

Overall this is another highly impressive gaming package from the seasoned professionals in the golf game trade, which is enjoyable if you’re not put off by the tough learning curve to begin with.

Unlike many tactical focused titles the game doesn’t bog you down with unnecessary commands, the interface has been kept simple and this accessibility only adds to the enjoyment of an action packed strategy title that’s packed with loads of missions.

The gameplay is easy to master and there were no evident bugs in the game. The only thing we could’ve asked for is a little more variation to the overall game.

The single player campaign is a little shallow but the games fantastic multiplayer support more then makes up for it.
