Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is an incredible action platformer with stunning animation and action that more than lives up to the reputation of the series.

Interrogation: You Will Be Deceived is no longer a suspect to being a bad game. Multiple levels of difficulty allow for multiple playthroughs. The Visual Novel is interesting enough for players who just want the story, while the other two difficulties add a bit of twists and turns to the already enjoyable game.

While I’m certainly hoping to see further Neo Geo Pocket Color games eventually come to the Nintendo Switch, maybe pick from a different genre for the next release. KING OF FIGHTERS R-2 is still decent for what it is, but only big fans of 2D fighters need to experience it on the Switch.

If the idea of a future with cyborgs and robots battling each other interests you, and you don’t mind a bit of a learning curve, then Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is probably for you. There were times where battles felt long and drawn out and even a bit slow. A few times, battles felt overwhelmingly difficult. Fans of the Warhammer series may have a better understanding and experience with the game. Overall it was a fun playthrough and should definitely be considered for your next strategy game.

Nicole looks good as a visual novel and dating sim. As for its gameplay and overall story, it falls a bit flat.

Germs is enjoyable with a few players in short bursts. The user interface is well-designed and there are plenty of options, plus its just plain fun being a cute germ battling in a body for supremacy. On the downside, there’s just not enough to entertain you for long periods, and the lack of a dedicated single-player experience is unfortunate.

Despite an oddly placed bullet hell section and a story that takes a couple of playthroughs to fully grasp, Need a Packet is a fun game with a simple gameplay loop. Mix that in with the eerily fun graphics, this is a truly interesting addition to your Switch library.

There are a few stumbles here and there, but Alphadia Genesis reflects many smart choices. The story is strong, the characters leave an impression, and the battling has depth. If you’re a genre fan looking for a slice of RPG nostalgia, this game has both quantity and quality.

Faeria is a thoroughly enjoyable strategic card battler that’s consistently fun to play. This multifaceted game feels like one you can play for the next few years and not get weary of it.

Tales from the Dragon Mountain: The Strix is an okay game with decent puzzles, look-and-find mechanics, and subpar controls. If you enjoy quick puzzlers, this may be worth a try.

Banner of the Maid is a highly unique entry in the shoulder-to-shoulder “thin red line” of turn-based JRPGs available for Nintendo Switch. Its alternate take on the French Revolution provides a wonderful backdrop for some of the best strategic gameplay I’ve experienced since Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Vive la France!

Brightstone Mysteries: Paranormal Hotel offers a fun premise for puzzle/adventure fans, but it fails to follow through it nearly every regard. The graphics, the puzzles, the story, and even the docked-mode controls combine to make this a crime not worth solving.

A construction and management simulation with a broader appeal (thanks to three difficulty modes), Country Tales succeeds on the Nintendo Switch. It’s a fun title that can be addictively challenging as you strategize how to manage your time best. Just make sure to play it in handheld mode if you’re looking for speed.

    We‌ ‌Should‌ ‌Talk‌ ‌is‌ ‌a‌ ‌great‌ ‌game‌ ‌that‌ ‌was‌ ‌fun‌ ‌to‌ ‌play‌ ‌through.‌ ‌As‌ ‌you‌ ‌dissect‌ ‌your‌ ‌various‌ ‌relationships,‌ ‌you‌ ‌are‌ ‌in‌ ‌for‌ ‌a‌ ‌treat.‌ ‌The‌ ‌overall‌ ‌story‌ ‌is‌ ‌unique—more‌ ‌than‌ ‌I‌ ‌expected‌ ‌it‌ ‌to‌ ‌be.‌ ‌I‌ ‌also felt the balance between text and the actual conversation was very well balanced and well done.

As a solo game, I could take it or leave it. But when played cooperatively, Starlit Adventures Golden Stars checks a ton of boxes to be a highly entertaining title. With a favorable amount of content, this charming release should appeal to anyone longing for a more in-depth arcade-style experience. Whether you’re a younger kid, a seasoned completionist, or somewhere in between, don’t overlook Starlit Adventures Golden Stars.

Creepy Tale is aptly titled; it had no trouble giving me goosebumps. The gloomy atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and the cryptic puzzles will tease your brain, bordering on frustrating at times – patience and trial and error are key attributes here. This one will likely appeal to fans of point-and-click style puzzle games with horror elements.

Despite many positive elements that Dodo Peak has to make it satisfying, I must admit that I genuinely didn’t have much fun playing it. It’s challenging, but not in a way that held my interest beyond a few minutes at a time. Further, the familiar three-star setup is weakened by an emphasis on speed and random enemy placement. This Dodo might not take flight on the Nintendo Switch.

If you’re a family with younger kids, Explosive Dinosaurs isn’t a poor choice. It offers some fun, albeit shallow, minigames. But a few omissions prevent this from being a must-have title.
