There is a good core of solid gameplay ideas and control physics at the center of "NBA ShootOut 2001", but you have to live with outdated-beyond-its-time graphics to enjoy them.

For a few brief seconds when you are adequately surfing, this game can be fun, but it is so unforgiving that the moment swiftly ends and you are ready to break the disc.

It's fine for now, but you better love pool or be ready to spend time learning 'english' all over again.

To say that Tekken Tag Tournament is as original for the PS2 as Tekken was for the PS would be a mistake.

Innovation is a word not in the minds of Namco developers, since they're too busy keeping the races fast, competitive and fun for gamers of all age.

Quite simply the most amazing game I have ever seen, and that does include "Madden 2001"... The real problems appear with the AI which is dumb as can be.

While I prefer the multiplayer, and will continue to play it for quite a while, the single player game became a bit too monotonous for my liking in the end.
