A great combination of real-time strategy with a primary focus on team tactics and intense 3D action.

It’s a great-looking but clunky implementation of the classic “aliens, spaceships and lots of micromanagement” formula.

This is an interesting and somewhat fun game, but it will appeal to a rather select audience and not the masses. If it sounds like your cup of tea, it probably is.

I was utterly disappointed. The game looks great on paper, but was created with mediocrity in mind.

One of those games that we see all the time. It’s not great, it’s not horrible, it’s ok. And that’s not always a good thing.

Not the kind of innovative game as its forbearer, Incoming. Instead, it comes across as a bit behind the times. While it does manage to be fun in parts, it still lacks in many areas.

They seem to have removed much of the delicate strategic balancing which made the original so much more than a squad-based tactical game, and many of the tactical elements which made it stand head and shoulders above resource-management games.

Unless you consider any game of this genre a must have, you may as well pass on this one.

A creepy and fun title, fans of the Myst series and with a love of horror will be right at home in this game.

You won't run through the streets exclaiming the virtues of this game after playing it. You won't tell every one of your friends about it. You won't even think much about it after you're finished. If you buy it though, you will get something few games these days can offer: Several hours of gaming enjoyment.

If nothing else, the combination of squad-based combat with a RTS title makes UFO: Aftershock worth picking up, but the game surpasses its gimmick with solid gameplay.

CivCity Rome could’ve been a great game. It is the culmination of a lot of minor problems that ultimately bring down this empire. All of these issues, however, are easily fixable.

DTR’s good points are largely overshadowed by its enormous faults. Die hard fans of Max Payne and its sequel might find something to enjoy here, but then again it would be difficult for them to take such a big step down.

Its many positives cannot escape the pull of its non-intuitive interface and plodding pace.

An ambitious, well-done project covering an often under-looked theatre of operation.

I do not recommend Moto Racer 3 to anyone over the age of twenty-one.

The best game out there for casual players, or players new to the simulation genre.

Suffers from the same thing as most MMORPGs out there, a lack of things to do besides the monotonous.

A solid action game, however for the discerning gamer it's not something that really stands up next to it's film and book namesakes.

While it's good for a quick game, in the long term you must ask yourself, "How much fun is it to place objects and watch people?"

The same way a movie like "Weird Science" would never be considered for an Oscar, Stupid Invaders makes no pretense about being a landmark game. This one is all about humor and fun factor.

Those who want to break into the genre, and racing addicts, might want to pick it up, but everyone else can easily do without RC Cars.

A half-baked "Rome: Total War" wannabe that just fails to make the grade.

Loaded with tons of action and realistic war time simulations, SA2 even with its flaws, gives any RTS fan a realistic taste of war.

There are plenty of modes, surfaces, and players, combined with some sharp visuals, but unfortunately, the slow gameplay and weak intelligence of opponents dampened the overall experience for me.

A sim that is not for everybody. A smorgasbord of pleasure for train geeks. The cure for insomnia for the rest of us. Add or subtract 20 points from the score, depending on which camp you fall into.

While the action and graphics are cool to look at and play through, a poor excuse for a story and a general lack of depth to most of the game could turn off some gamers.

It’s not a great game by any stretch of the imagination, but it is a very competent title that manages to hit more right notes than wrong ones.
