What disappointed me was that a game with such a great story displayed some rather under whelming graphics and tons of load screens, which ultimately end up hurting the material instead of supporting it.

Definitely not a purchase for mature PC gamers, but for those wanting a gaming introductory lesson for their young children, this might just be for you. Just plan on lots of patience, as this is certainly targeted toward the LEGO fans of the world.

Unfortunately, the best part of this game was uninstalling it and using the disks for coasters while taking a big gulp of Pepto Bismol.

Presents itself as a value title but in truth it’s really not a value title, just a very bad game.

Even the tutorials are riddled with poor grammar, grainy, pixilated text, and bugs. If I were Emperor of Rome I’d feed this game to the lions.

Nearly everything was done half-assed and it shows; Sound cuts out; Graphics are crap for lack of a better word; More bugs than a spider web; Can’t even use the disc as a coaster since I pissed on it.

All harshness aside, I think there is a good game buried deep in there. If just a little more time was spent on programming the game and ironing out the quirks, they could have had a success on their hands. As is, it’s not worth the time or money.

I can take points away from the game for many things, but none of these things really detract from the fun that you can have with this game. The game is about one thing, and one thing only - fun. And it delivers.

If you’re looking for a quality tactical action game with loads of weapons, cool features, smart enemies, and polish, look elsewhere. But if your main interest is recent, real-world action (and the promise of at least two new missions each month), this may be your game.

A good game for PvP play, but thoroughly underwhelming in all other areas. Not a game worthy of monthly fees.

The graphics, the sound, and especially the gameplay simply haven’t withstood the passing years. A lobotomized bag lady wouldn’t find this fun, so why would even the most casual PC gamer?

A decent budget action game that will satisfy many gamers, yet is somewhat lacking in detail and environmental interaction.

Despite its reliance on clichés the game starts off well, with a great atmosphere and some sublime visuals (water effects and sunsets are particularly nice) but once you delve a little deeper the limitations of the hugely linear missions and combat really drag you down and suck most of the enjoyment out of the game.

Paradise Cracked is not the worst strategy game ever developed, but PC gamers needing a solid story to push the experience along will want to look elsewhere.

Overall, it just felt like this game was striving to be "Rogue Spear" with the production value of "Donkey Kong." If you want squad-based games, play the Tom Clancy or SWAT games.

The great sim that could have been, Game Tycoon is instead a dull entry in a genre that is already overflowing with dull entries.

Brigade E5: New Jagged Union tries to revitalize a struggling genre, but gets almost nothing right. There are some nice customization options available, but that's about it. Combat is not fun at all, and the bad camera views and Playstation 1 era graphics only make things worse.

The graphics are poor, the gameplay boring, and even Bruce Campbell can’t save the game. It’s not even worth it in the bargain-bin.

Just remember to keep playing for more than five levels because once you complete a couple of the dream levels you'll be hooked!

With only a few good features GI Combat's disconnected and confusing nature will probably make you glad the war is over.
