At the end of the day, adults most likely won't find much long-lasting entertainment in LEGO Battles. But in short bursts, there is some fun to be had in revisiting a piece of your childhood.- PALGN

Perhaps the most casual Dragon Quest game to date, TMQATTOM is a case of too little, too late, and is difficult to recommend to anyone but a casual or perhaps younger gamer.- PALGN

Lose yourself in the limbs, style and lyrical waxings of Samuel L. Jackson, and the flaws in Afro Samurai won't be so glaring. It might not be the best game ever made, but it knows how to show off and have fun.- PALGN

The brilliant yet poorly-executed premise, the mediocre graphics, and the surprisingly relaxing music - all meld together to make a pretty strange game.- PALGN

Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir is a worthy addition to the DS library. It’s great for quick pick up and play sessions, there’s a lot of replay value on offer, and it’s neatly presented. If you haven’t liked other Touch Generation titles however, then you need not apply.- PALGN

Island of Happiness has some depth, but you'll have to get past the painful controls and lazy design to find it.- PALGN

An impressive and enjoyable kids game. It has a few issues, but the campaign is fun and provides enough reason to come back to the game more than once.- PALGN

Whilst not groundbreaking, Two Worlds offers some decent fantasy gaming. It's just a shame for the game that there's others out there that do the 'open world' RPG thing better.- PALGN

Turok is a decent game with obvious flaws. Its first steps as a reborn franchise are decent ones, though it's difficult to recommend over so many other titles on the PC market.- PALGN

An above average game that could have been so much, if only it was a little longer and a little larger.- PALGN

A casual affair. While the mini games are decent and perfectly suited to a handheld, the tennis part of the game is average.- PALGN

It's a shame that a game that gets the mix of genres so right is hampered by such a great number of issues that all result in holding it back from realising its true potential.- PALGN

The Sims 2 feels a little scaled back on the PSP and even though there are a few extras added in the experience isn't as free roaming as before. The loading really makes the game hard to recommend as a portable title.- PALGN

While not very different or revolutionary, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai 2 provides the fans with what they want. Plenty of DBZ and some solid but enjoyable fighting action.- PALGN

Viking: Battle of Asgard is a passable hack-and-slash that would have left a stronger impression if the style managed to outdo the substance.- PALGN

It's a mediocre N64 game in Dreamcast clothing on the PS2. It'll do OK for kids, but even platformer-loving adults should think twice before buying this. Play "Rayman 3" or "Mario Sunshine" again instead.- PALGN

An engrossing story and above-average presentation. However, flawed gameplay elements make the game less enjoyable then it should be.- PALGN

A competent RPG that is hampered by several minor flaws. The controls are simple to pick up, and battles are quick and enjoyable. Some players however will get frustrated by the repetitive nature of the job licenses, the translation issues and the lack of a detailed map. If you don't have high expectations though, then there's enough on offer to keep you interested.- PALGN

Top Spin 3 features an improved frame rate and enhanced Career mode over last year’s Top Spin 2. Unfortunately, the game’s AI is overly difficult and the visuals are bland. On the plus side, the multiplayer mode is solid, there are a decent number of mini-games on offer, and the controls are easy to pick up.- PALGN

Tekken Hybrid a package that contains a graphically-updated version of a game that was released 12 years ago, a game demo and a movie. Most gamers are going to find the $60 price tag hard to swallow, so only hardcore Tekken fans need apply.- PALGN

James Bond 007: Blood Stone is a good, workmanlike title with modest pleasures to be derived from the trappings of its license. Unfortunately, stiff combat, inconsistent visuals and a weak narrative ensure that the definitive 007 videogame adaptation is yet to come.- PALGN

SingStar: Dance seems like a natural evolution of the series, but the actual dancing and Move functionality is poorly implemented. Nevertheless, the tracklist is solid and the game's core karaoke function will provide fun at parties.- PALGN
