If you’re a fan of driving games and are able to look past its faults, then Crash City Mayhem may be for you; just be wary that it’s an incredibly short game with little replay value.

As it stands, it may be a decent game to unwind with, but its flaws tend to outweigh any enjoyment that you may get from it.

For those that haven't experienced the 3DS game, or simply want to dive in again in HD on a big screen, Resident Evil Revelations on Wii U is a worthwhile investment.

Gummy Bears Magical Medallion is a terrible game. Forgive us for being so blunt about it, but we wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if we didn't make that perfectly clear.

If you appreciate creative gameplay and an endearing, after-school aesthetic, get ready to channel your inner puzzle-platforming Pollock: Color Commando makes an excellent addition to any collection.

A slight handwriting issue aside, this game delivers on exactly what it promises, and that's a world of puzzles. Nothing more, nothing less.

Crazy Construction does what it sets out to do and little else, sticking to an inventive plan that works. With a relatively low investment of time and money, this absurd puzzle game is worth seeking out if an unconventional puzzle fix is what you’re after.

Mystery Murders: Jack the Ripper isn’t a particularly bad game, it’s just repetitive, unfocused – and if we’re being honest – somewhat mediocre. It truly does feel like a budget game that would have been released during the 90’s era of PC gaming. Fans of the genre will probably find some enjoyment here but it would be realistic not to expect anything all that memorable. Weak story delivery and mediocre gameplay elements make Jack a dull boy.

So try out some demos from the Nintendo eShop; download any number of free games on your phone of choice; maybe take your corgi for a walk and remember what it’s like to breath fresh air. Whatever you do, don’t waste your life playing Working Dawgs: Rivet Retriever.

Whether you’re pummelling your opponent through the core of the Earth as Doomsday or smashing a car over Aquaman’s head, it is very satisfying having so much power in your hands.

This portable Prehistoric Party takes the best elements of the Wii U version — the fun of playing with friends and a personable presentation — and throws them out the window. What's left is a half-hearted collection of mediocre mini-games, with nothing to tie them together and no compelling reason to play them.

Super Little Acorns 3D is a lot of fun. Its tiny levels are perfect for on-the-go play, and it's got enough challenge for every kind of gamer. Some loose physics and repetitive soundtrack hold the game back somewhat, but not much. It's a great improved port of an addictive mobile game, and one we're glad to have on the eShop. If you pass on this one...you must be nuts.

LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins is an enjoyable game that features many of the hallmarks of a quality LEGO title – there's tons of content, a decently crafted campaign and some fun uses of the 3DS hardware. However, it's burdened by several technical issues that sap away at some of its appeal and prevent it from being the handheld blockbuster it could have, and should have, been.

The After Kick system is satisfying and the Download Play-enabled multiplayer is a great addition, but they aren't enough to save the experience. We regretfully recommend a pass.

For Shin Megami Tensei or Persona fans, this is a no brainer — Soul Hackers is a fantastic entry in the series and you won't be disappointed.

Had a fluid, responsive, competent combat system been implemented, Clash of Elementalists could have been a solid way to kill some time here and there. However, the broken control scheme and lack of variety make this one best left alone.

If you're really into your party games, then Finding Nemo: Escape to the Big Blue may entertain you with its slightly tougher mini-games, but it goes without saying that there are much better titles in the 3DS library to choose from.

Unfortunately, the game's limited modes and the absence of multiplayer result in an experience that is lacking in replay value. Nevertheless, it's a valiant effort from Ludosity and well worth your money if you're looking for a solid pick-up-and-play title to indulge in every now and again.

What we have here is essentially game-length DLC, with almost none of the original faults addressed, and that leaves us feeling relatively disappointed.

For the right price and the right audience, Prehistoric Party could be a fine way to pass the afternoon, but aside from the presentation, it's mostly a disappointing experience. The mini-games on offer vary wildly in quality, and even the best of them are derivative and largely forgettable, while the board game frame is slow and uneventful. Younger fans of the movie might very well enjoy the settings, characters, and charming musical score enough to deal with the monotonous gameplay, but uninvested players should head elsewhere for their party game fix.
