There's absolutely no denying that Christmas Clix is a fun and engaging puzzler that should appeal to many fans of the genre. Not only does the game sport a very easy control system, it has plenty of gameplay variety to keep things interesting.

Younger kids will likely enjoy this more than teens and adults, with the ability to customize their characters' faces and sounds however they please. It's a very smooth, well-packaged game with great level design and controls.

The real trick here is getting someone to fork over money for what really is a glorified demo. Don't bother.

Digital Leisure did all right in implementing written number recognition (aside from the aforementioned X problem), and Grand Sudoku was a rather ingenious idea, but the complete lack of an Undo feature makes Sudoku Challenge! nearly impossible, and as if that weren't bad enough, the bland graphics and blander sounds join together to kick you while you're already down.

This is a strong step in the right direction, and a title the developers should be proud of.

The story's practically non-existent and you'll be going from A to be B a lot, but it looks good, plays without error, has an entertaining multiplayer mode and contains enough variation to stop it being overwhelmingly average.

Poor decisions in the wardrobe department, tedious animal treatment sections, useless "party games" and bad QA take a lot away from what could have been a pretty fun game to play with your kids.

Intersect is a masterpiece of addictive puzzling – a potent culmination of the series’ trademark soothing aesthetics and completely frantic and infuriating gameplay. Though not the simplest puzzle game around, once you’ve mastered some of its tricks Art Style Intersect will have you hooked.

Frogger Returns makes a welcome addition to the WiiWare line-up. It features good old-fashioned gameplay which remains faithful to its arcade ancestor whilst providing interesting new levels that enhance the experience: a hallmark of good retro game design. It's let down by limited options and lackluster multiplayer modes, but if you're a fan of classic arcade games it's definitely worth your 500 points.

The inclusion of innovative features such as Visual Chat, the abundance of action, some witty dialogue and the presence of many traditional Phantasy Star elements help to secure this a decent score, and there is a lot to enjoy.

With a strong campaign and a rock-solid multiplayer that will keep you playing well into the new year, Reflex shames its competition and delivers a great FPS package. Developers, take note: this is how you do a Wii port.

There is however an awful lot more to DJ Star than just the music.
