Warriors: Legends of Troy is a wasted opportunity, since the Greek setting should have had a great appeal to western users. Play like Achilles, Hector or Ulysses is pretty entertaining, but the game is technically poor and even too boring, the Arena battles are repetitive, while there are no incentive to play for a long time.

The new MotoGP has a lot of good things in it: the Career mode is rich and exciting, while physics and sense of speed are really improved. The gameplay is pretty similar to the one in MotoGP 09/10, but the possibility to turn several driving assists off provides a deeper and more satisfying experience. Unfortunately the graphics is still lacking and the opponents' AI is absolutely awful.

Mass Effect 2 is still a game you shouldn't miss at all costs, and one of the best RPG's of this generation of consoles. You need an internet connection to download all of the contents which EA didn't include on the main BR disk.

On the one hand, Asphalt 3D delivers a rich single player career, a large number of online multiplayer modes and some decent 3D effects; on the other hand, the graphics are poor and suffer from frequent frame drops, while the physics are ugly. Not the racing game we were expecting from Gameloft, definitely.

Not the fantastic retro platform that we expected, Risky's Revenge is a nice little metroidvania game that suffers from a just competent but far from stellar level and game design.

More than just a visual masterpiece, Kirby Epic Yarn is a solid and cute platform game that is perfect be experienced in co-op with a casual player. With some great hardcore similar games like Super Mario Bros. Wii and Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Wii, this alternative choice is all but superfluous.

The heritage of a masterpiece such as Okami is a big burden, which Okamiden somewhat fails to fully carry on its shoulders: however, the game is so beautiful and inspiring that's easily forgiven, and it's definitely one of the best adventures on the Nintendo DS.

Torchlight is a welcome addition to the XBLA portfolio. It's still a good game with all the good and bad aspects it had a couple of years ago when it came out on Steam.

FHP is a really well-crafted game. It may be lacking in the AI and camera departements, but poker fans with a Gold Xbox Live account will love it for many months to come.

Pretty short and with ordinary gameplay, Flying Hamster reaches to stand out thanks to the cute graphics and the surreal hero.

Spires could be considered at first look just another Tower Defense Game and, in fact, so it is. However, the good realization, the dramatic history and the professional voice of the narrator make the game better than many others in this genre.

Battleheart delivers an excellent mix of immediacy and depth, thanks to a good number of levels and an engaging gameplay. The game requires some effort to overcome the latest battles: you must manage upgrades, equipment and characters in order to complete all the challenges. The graphics are really cute and stylish. Don't miss it!

Shift 2 Unleashed is a double-faced game. Besides good visuals, an incredible helmet view, realistic handling and a revamped career, we also find terrible A.I. in different ways so unfair, stupid and unpredictable, that it turns a race into a destruction derby.

Although better than the orribile Resurrection, Painkiller: Redemption is a cheap-but-cobbled-together new chapter in a series that has nothing left to say.

Fate of the World is a bold experiment, able to deal with unusual subjects for a game and to present some original ideas. Too bad for the repetition of situations and the poorly calibrated difficulty level.

Despite the single player does not last for long and there are some defects, such as lack of interactivity with the environments, Homefront is an interesting and well told experience, with a multiplayer that can compete with the other heavyweights of the genre.

Shogun II is a great game, able to resume, improve and innovate many of the aspects that made the franchise one of the most appreciated in the world of real-time strategy games. The only true failure is an artificial intelligence that doesn't always impress, but somehow this aspect is compensated for by a much deeper multiplayer component.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood for PC delivers stunning visuals, a huge number of missions to complete, solid gameplay (though it's not challenging at all) and an engaging story. The multiplayer modes are very fun, too. Fans of the previous Assassin's Creed episodes absolutely can't miss this one.

Precursors is one of those games that must be taken for what it is. The freedom is absolute and the mix of FPS, RPG and space battles is something quite unique. On the other hand, there are several bugs, glitches and problems large and small involving many aspects of the experience.

The Sims Medieval is a variation on the classic and successful bid. The heroes and the missions are many, the idea well-used, and there is the very high level of customization we are used to experiencing. Something new that the fans will not take long to love.

Yakuza 4 is not just a simple more of the same. Between its huge lines of subtitles there are some new features that definitely work. The four characters are a great gift for the story telling, and also to the combat system, different from character to character, succeeds to revamp old but working mechanics. Beside that is the same Yakuza of the past years.

Despite a good premise, The Blocks Cometh doesn't engage its audience. To be clear, it's not a bad game, and the graphics are pretty nice, likewise the good chiptune music. But unfortunately the contents are poor and the lack of variety is clear. Besides few unlockable characters and some achievements, the player doesn't have many reasons to keep the game on his iPhone for long.

Cheerful, charismatic and mesmerizing, Tiny Wings is really fun to look at and play with: it perfectly fits for quick plays but it requires some practice to master jumps and slides. Visually it's simply beautiful, with procedurally generated islands and wonderful sound effects. Tiny Wings is a little, colourful and unpretentious game, but like many other tiny iPhone games it can touch the heart of the player.

Trigonon: Episode One revamps a gameplay very familiar to iPhone users, thanks to fresh mechanics, an unusual setting and an awesome presentation. The later levels of the game can offer some mindbreaking puzzles and occasionally it can be a little frustrating. Actually, there is a lot of replayability as you go back and try to end puzzles as fast as possible.

Fight Night Champion delivers an excellent boxing experience, with a lot of moves you can perform by simply touching the screen, twenty champions to choose from and a deep, solid gameplay. Hot Springs Story brings an extremely deep experience through a simple and intuitive interface, ideal for novices. Obviously the game can soon become repetitive and predicatble, while the setting could not attract many western users, but there are a lot of improvements from Game Dev Story, like the ability to zoom in/out or play in landscape mode.
