Hitman is back and is in great shape. Io Interactive delivered a game suitable to both hardcore fans looking for a challenging experience and new players, thanks to the many options in difficulty and features set; this adds to an highly cinematic experience with a mature story and interesting social features. With Black Ops 2 Treyarch packaged a great and content-rich game with an intense and exciting campaign and a great multiplayer experience with a very strong selection of maps; the Zombie mode is the only underwhelming part of the game. AC III successfully fulfills fans' expectations, satisfyingly bringing to and end the main plots open in the previous games and introducing some spectacular news over an already rich play offering. We would have liked a less rushed storytelling on Desmond's side with more action missions, while the historic setting could prove to be not as charming for European gamers; it's however a great new episode in Ubisoft's series and a sure must buy.- MondoXbox

Skylanders Giants builds on the already good first game adding more polish and a better difficulty balance. A very interesting novelty in the music games genre, very involving for guitar/bass newcomers even if quite challenging. The on-screen notes indicators are sometimes confusing and it could benefit from a more distinctive presentation, but if you always wanted to start playing guitar this is a very good tool for becoming acquainted with the instrument.- MondoXbox

Mass Effect 3 is a great conclusion, fully satisfying and highly spectacular, to BioWare's sci-fi trilogy. A must buy for every lover of good games and great, emotional stories, as well as the first real nominee to the title of GOTY 2012.- MondoXbox

I Am Alive successfully introduces new mechanics to the survival genre, and it does it offering us an interesting story in a convincing environment. We'd love to see it evolved to a full-blown, high budget AAA game.- MondoXbox
