Probably one on the best beat 'em up that we've seen on PSP so far. There're a couple of new elements that slightly changes the battle system, but that's enough to improve what Dissidia offered back in 2009. It's very much the same, but better.- Meristation

Being a cheap downloadable game is not an excuse for this. Extremely short campaign, really low production values and lack of alternative modes or multiplayer make this an extremely poor deal. There are cheaper games that offer so much more than this.- Meristation

THQ assures that Homefront tries to be something different in the FPS genere, but it's just another copy & paste from the Call of Duty series. Only the multiplayer modes, which have their own gameplay style, are the highlights of a game with a repetitive and short campaign, along with many features that need improving.- Meristation

For all those Monster Hunter friendly fans out there, God Eater represents one of the best choises to make nowadays if willing to play some hunt-and-roll style. Its pretty difficil not to fall under 'Burst' enchants, although the control mechanics fails from time to time. If you aren't looking for an intriguing story, this is the best choice to make. Pure fun.- Meristation

Okamiden is a great Action RPG that preserves the spirit of Okami: Magic Brush, puzzles, sidequests and great characters. They has only one problem: this sequel is too similar than the Amaterasu game.- Meristation

Despite of being a World of Warcraft clone, RIFT is definetly a good and recommended MMORPG for those looking for a "themepark" experiencie. It is filled with plenty of content, and it is almost bug-free, so Trion has definetly achieved what they were trying to: a good, complete and polite massive online game.- Meristation

New year, new MotoGP. Monumental Games has been able to increase the realism this year, by adjusting the behaviour of the motorbike and tweaking the physics engine (in fact, it's a new one). Still not at the level of best simulation racing games, but approaching. The same game modes from last year, give enough variety to enjoy alone or online. Also, this year you can count a new member in your team, in career mode and split screen, which is an excellent idea.- Meristation

Top Spin 4 is a strong entry in the series, with a realism that is more polished than ever. The matches are hard but, at the same time, it feels really satisfying to fight until winning the point. The roster of players and the online game modes add up to create one of the best tennis simulators in the market right now.- Meristation

Yakuza 4 is based on an excellent core from previous installments of the franchise. In fact, there are no significant changes to the gameplay, and the focus of SEGA was in the story elements. The idea of introducing four different characters gives the plot a variety of situation and allow us to know what's happening from several point of views. As it was divided into several acts, the game manages to avoid boring us after a few hours, and taking into account its length, that's a good thing. Sadly, the great scenario situated in the red district of Tokyo becomes rubbish when we progress and discover, again, that there is no realism at all and we are playing and absurd tale. At least, there are no zombies... yet.- Meristation

Shogun 2 is like a melting pot for all the ideas, gameplay and concepts we've seen in the previous games of the Total War series. Its pillars are quite similar to Empire's, but this game has improvements in many areas, and the setting is so charming, that it feels like something unique.- Meristation

Stays true to its previous releases without compromising on innovation. The developers have chosen to resemble the campaign mode more like multiplayer games and this leads to awesome confrontations. To this we must add the new faction, Imperial Guard, and the possibility to play the campaign with any of the 6 standing armies. Bound for fans of the franchise and lovers of fast-paced RTS.- Meristation

With its fast paced combat, memorable characters and the kind of production values Bioware apply to their projects, Dragon Age 2 is nothing short of a great title. But it's yet to be seen if the sacrifices made to streamline the game and make it more welcome to new players are the best solution avaliable.- Meristation

Just as the PC version, Torchlight is a fun experience, with a lot of exploring, looting, combating and side-questing. It lacks a multiplayer coop mode, it has some framerate issues and it's rather short by genre's standards, but it's an interesting game overall. Recommended for hardcore action-RPG fans.- Meristation

Interesing but offering nothing new at all, the handheld version of Split / Second: Velocity is basically a port of the PS3-X360-PC versions of the license. Visually amazing, its delivers the fast-paced racing that conquered the audience a few months ago.- Meristation

Cities in Motion is a game about public transport attractive enough for fans of this genre but with too many limitations for those looking for a more global possibility. The game features an appropiate graphical level but certain problems in the simulation of traffic must be addressed to make it a real choice.- Meristation

Beyond Good & Evil deserved this second chance, as it's one of the best games we've seen in the last few years. There are not many improvements here, but overall is a great experience in a genre that is not as popular as it used to be. Charming characters, great storytelling and gameplay make for an unforgettable game.- Meristation

Charmin sequel that offers nothing really new -except for the 2D levels-, in which players will take the rol of Blob, jumping and painting a number of scenarios. Quite fun, but nonetheless very much the same that we saw back in 2008. It's a very interesing buy-option for those who didn't try it back then, specially on 360 and PS3.- Meristation

Kill with Skill is a perfect slogan for an action game with so many ways of executing enemies. Filled with a great sense of humour, the main campaign is the star in this game. It was designed in a way that we always find new things to do, completing the incredibly large list of skills with a good variety of weapons and situations. You really have to think before you act, planning how you're going to attack in order to get greatest amount points that is possible, taking into account not only the enemies, but the environment. But when you finish the game... you have two options: you're really competitive and want to be the first one in the charts, or you just abandon the game because of its lack of cooperative mode or an interesting multiplayer. Regardless, but you should not miss such a unique campaign.- Meristation

Kirby strikes again with his best adventure so far, probably also one of the best stories that we've discovered on Wii's catalog. This is a trully epic adventure in which Kirby discovers a new way of developing his abilites, meeting new friends and so on. It's fun and entertaining, and without any doubt the best game for this console on the beginning of 2011. Yet another must-have for Nintendo's Wii.- Meristation

Marvel vs Capcom 3 is the return of one of the most important franchises in the fighting game genre. Frenetic and fun game, MvC3 has a simple but addictive gameplay and a good roster.
