Gal Guardians: Demon Purge is a game that will delight fans of 2D direct action. Excellent gameplay, outstanding final bosses and a set of charismatic characters and dialogues as witty as the Gal*Gun saga. A fun experience that lacks more creativity in level design, but the dynamism of its proposal and the good work in the genre of its developers elevate this remarkable game.

Homeword: Deserts of Kharak achieves its goal: to be a fantastic tribute for the original series. As a RTS, HDoK hasn’t much new, but is a fun game for the hardcore public of this genre.

LA Noire is a very special adventure. An interactive thriller with interrogations, detective sources, charismatic characters and a great plot. Good remaster in PS4 & One and great port for Switch.

NBA 2K25 is once again one of the best sports videogame in the market, but also presents the most agressive business model in the genre. It delivers greatness on the court, but it fails in the front office.

A year after Ayesha brought us a new, more dramatic and dark kind of story, the Atelier series continues this trend with Escha & Logy, the fifteenth chapter in the Japan RPG series from GUST. The Alchemists of Dusk Sky has enough innovations to please the fans, and at the same time a familiar Atelier universe & rules feeling, beginning with the series trademark: Its crafting system, open enough to attract new public, but complex enough to please the old loyal followers. Visually precious in its own not-photorealistic style, with a great OST and two characters this time to choose, if you like Japan RPGs or Ateliers, just do yourself a favour and pick up a copy.

No Codes's new production is a narrative adventure that allows you to play as the AI of a space station. A wonderfully written thriller with rich storytelling and background.

Paper Beast is a short and simple puzzle game, but it has a wonderful world, just beautiful, full of creatures to interact with, and it has a very smart and important message about the humans and their relation with nature. Fascinating.

Arise: A Simple Story presents a beautiful marriage between gameplay and narrative. With an emotional story always at its center, the platformer elements and level design elegantly support it, even if they never elevate the end result in a significant way.

FIFA 20 has its strengths in terms of modes, with Volta being the best addition in last years. But this franchise needs a revolution in its gameplay.

Overlord 2 is a solid sequel of the first one, a game that surprised many people thanks to its charm and originality. Now, the surprise factor is gone, but Triumph Games has made wise improvements over the weakest elements of their previous work, which makes this an enjoyable experience and a recommended title.

Outrun Online Arcade is, essentially, the same game that arrived on PS2, Xbox and PSP three years ago, but it's still a great offering for arcade lovers. Several game modes, great visuals and a lot of fun in a game that it's worth it, if you don't own last-gen entries.

Alma is back, with a game too similar to the original F.E.A.R. The same great gameplay, along with a few good scares, aren't enough to cover all the issues present in the game: graphics-wise is almost the same game, but with a different story. A good game, but it could have been so much better that it's a bit of a disappointment.

This new entry in the Silent Hill series is, simply, one of the best entries in the franchise. It knows what players want and fear, and show them their inner fears on-screen. A great game, with an unforgettable story, but unfortunately it's too short and quite easy.

PES 2011 has, once again, good and bad things; overall, the game has the same problems as these past few years. There are improvements in the manager aspect of the game, as well as new licenses and a Master League online; but while the football is not pure football, all of the new features are meaningless.

Rune Factory is no less than a Harvest Moon or a typical JRPG game. Its outstanding graphics are just another way to justify the incredible amount of objects and diary labors that gamers will be able to live after day 1. Don't ask too much to the story though, it's quite simple, but it's still interesting enough to keep players focused on their main focus: earn a living.

Civilization VII is the most revolutionary and innovative installment of the legendary 4X turn-based strategy saga. The division of the games into 3 eras, and the possibility of choosing a leader and civilization separately are just the tip of the iceberg of a large number of interesting new features. The title offers thousands of hours of content, retains all the features that took the saga to the top, and offers excellent audiovisual finish and a fully polished experience free of bugs.

Wild Hearts is a great gateway to the online hunting genre and a worthy alternative to Monster Hunter. The idea of constructions is the future of this type of games and its rhythm, like a musou, makes Wild Hearts dynamic, original and fun. Its a pitty what happens with the camera, its performance issues and its broken progression system that requires you to grind to death and doesn't allow you to complete the game if you are a lone wolf.

Mirror's Edge is an unique platforming game, very realistic, with a very special point of view in the genre. A huge experience, very different to what we have played previously, with an incredible gameplay and great atmosphere. It's the beginning of a brand new series that can provide us with many satisfactions.

Final Fight: Double Impact offers in a single pack two arcade classics, Final Fight and Magic Sword, originally launched in 1989 and 1990 respectively. The work carried out with the conversions of both titles cannot be compared with Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, although they offer online mode and excellent graphical filters.
