Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands has a lot of great puzzle-elements, but when it comes down to the combat, the game fails.

There are more arcade racers than you can count, but Split/Second brings something to the pack that makes this game a must-try. Every race is a hyped-up experience full of explosions and crashes that leaves the décor in shambles, but puts you on the edge of your seat. Realism or depth is not something you can expect from this title, but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker.

The Tomb of Sammun-Mak is a really fun episode. The switching between the movie reels adds an extra layer of depth to the puzzles and the story is a lot better than in the first episode. Sam & Max: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak gives promising prospect for the episodes to come.

Lost Planet 2 has the potential to be a great game, but the different gameplay elements aren't polished enough. So in the end, Lost Planet 2 is a mixture of a lot of stuff, but nothing in the mix is better then mediocre.

What Skate 3 does, it does it good. It is better than the second installment and brings some interesting online modes.

3D Dot Game Heroes is more than a three-dimensional remake of The Legend of Zelda. It's an obvious homage to the NES-classic, but brings its own flavour to the table. 3D Dot Game Heroes is the embodiment of retro gaming, in the present.

Fat Princess is like a fairytale book, which tells the same story over and over again. Fun at the beginning, but it will get boring over time.

Splinter Cell: Conviction is quite different from its predecessors. Less trial-and-error, more tactical and action based stealth. Sam Fisher became the ultimate killing machine in the renewal of the stealth genre.

Nier is an awesome game which brings a great story, lots of gameplay variation, interesting characters and a very good soundtrack. It is the surprise of this year!

Monster Hunter Tri is the best game in the franchise. We love the underwater worlds and the game looks pretty good. It is also very good to see that Capcom dropped the annoying friendcodes, so that you can enjoy the online experience.

WarioWare: Do It Yourself inspires you creatively and subsequently gives you a peek into the inner workings of a game. All of the mini-games will be designed by you, so it all depends of how creative you are. It's a shame then that the mini-games don't have the endless options they appear to have at first glance. Still WarioWare: Do It Yourself is an interesting experiment and a stepping stone for all future game developers.

The island of Panau is like an amazing vacation filled with explosions and action. Just like a real holiday, you want to go home sometime but for as long as it takes Just Cause 2 is about as crazy and fun as an open world game can be.
