Yakuza: Dead Souls may seem like a decent idea, but it is probably best to just ignore it and hope that things return to normal for the next instalment.

Some sections of Kinect Star Wars seem so much more polished than others, making this a game that while a bit hobbled, can still be a fun jaunt.

It is surprisingly relaxing and enjoyable for such a simple game. Lightopus at only a few dollars, is well worth a try.

Flight Control Rocket may not enjoy the same astronomical success as Flight Control, as it is more a natural progression from the original rather than something completely different. What it does offer is some simple, addictive fun.

IronMonkey Studios have done a brilliant job in bringing a bite sized version of the Mass Effect story to the mobile world.

Maybe down the track this game will be patched in order to make it play better but I have a better idea; get it right the first time because this reviewer will never download a patch to make a game playable, that's why I bought a console, games should work every time straight out the box. This one does, barely, and that is why sadly I wouldn't bother with it.

Overall, Avernum: Escape From the Pit is a solid RPG experience that combines classic style, a compelling story, and generous content to create an indie game that is very much worth your time. If you're looking for a complex single player RPG and value content at the expense of visuals, don't miss this title.

At the end of the day, Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai is a fun game if you like this genre of PC gaming that contains a very sturdy interface with some lush graphics and political intrigue thrown into the mix.

Rocksmith has set the next standard in music gaming, it's hard to envision bothering with fake push button guitars ever again really. Again, you still have to have that stick to it attitude to get anyplace here, but it's a spectacular jump off point for beginners and a blast once you really get going.

If you're growing a little tired of the FIFA series or Pro Evolution Soccer but still want your soccer fix, than you really should check out FIFA Street as it offers players a whole wealth of new gaming mechanics, online modes and some honest gaming fun. With a sturdy career mode and the option of taking your squad online, FIFA Street is rife with replay value and more importantly, pure gaming fun! Recommended!

This is worth a look for those who are looking for a nostalgic experience, and perhaps those looking for something a little different as car combat like Twisted Metal is unfortunately a rarity in modern gaming.

I think the biggest problem with Reality Fighters is that your fighter, especially with your superimposed face doesn't look right. That and the background environments look a little plain, even the augmented reality ones of your real environment. It just doesn't look right. Fortunately there is enough options as a fighting game to keep you investing some time into it but compared to the more professional fighters out there, I would definitely try before you buy.

It may not be your traditional racer but if you want to try something different in the world of racing games, than Wipeout 2048 is definitely a game you should investigate. It contains some brilliant gameplay, great graphics and lots of replay value, especially with the inclusion of online.

The best aspect of Everybody's Golf for the PS Vita is that you can pick up the console and play the game anytime and anywhere without too much thought. The gameplay is pretty much flawless and some of the PS Vita controls are actually quite fun. It's also quite an addictive title that makes this such a hard game to put down as you're always striving for that perfect score. Add in online multiplayer and you'll be playing Everybody's Golf on the PS Vita for a considerable amount of time.

With flawless gaming mechanics, a thoroughly interesting story and more action than you can poke a stick at, Uncharted: Golden Abyss not only showcases the PS Vita but is easily one of the best adventure games on the portable platform and is a must have title.

The developers did successfully use the innovative controls of the PS Vita but unfortunately sometimes less is more and this is the case with Little Deviants. The games itself are fun initially but unfortunately as you progress, things become to get harder and it becomes quite a frustrating experience. Now if only the game was more Pikman than Little Deviants, we would have probably have a winner on our hands but for the price, it's still a great way to showcase this console but just be warned... it comes at a cost to your gaming sanity!

One last criticism is that the game is way too short, lasting just over an hour, but at an introductory price of 0.99c, it is recommended for shooter fans who don't mind being on rails, for a change.

With the content it almost feels like old hat, even with a celebrity name attached to a special edition. The Sims 3: Showtime is a solid add on that brings a small twist to the game and some optional social networking fun on the side for those that really live the Sim Life. Good for the hard core fans, and a nice intro for those just getting into the Sims, grab up The Sims 3, and the add on The Sims 3: Showtime.

Biart stresses that the game is very arcade and action oriented, not to be compared to hardcore titles; and this really gets to the heart of the matter. Deep Black offers waves of enemies on land and somewhat more strategic, cover-based battle in the sea. Included are boss fights, a decent multitude of weapons, and a nifty jetpack mechanic. Don't expect to fight Deus Ex or Battlefield 3 here. If all of that sounds great to you, I think the odds are that you'll enjoy Deep Black.

Overall, there is a heap of value here; once World Tour is complete there is a still heap to do, from challenges to collectibles. This is a more than worthy entry for a series that has long been successful and provides a complete experience that is highly and enjoyable and full of value. There are very few issues with this release and they are generally rare and fairly minor. SSX is worth a look for anyone into extreme sports titles or someone looking for something different to all the other titles that are cut from the same mold.

Unit 13 for the PS Vita is an interesting game that unfortunately doesn't try to move out of the safe zone. Games like this have been around for quite some time and if the developer's fine tuned the gameplay, graphics and more importantly, added a story, Unit 13 would have been a far superior title. However with the absence of a story, it does target the portable market as you can easily play a mission here and there without being drawn into the story. It's a little dated but it's a good attempt!

Although the game is not Tekken, CAPCOM have done a good job at porting these characters to the Street Fighter franchise and if you're hankering for a decent fighter, than you should definitely check out Street Fighter x Tekken which is the best fun I've had since... err... Ultimate Street Fighter vs Marvel. It may not have pushed the genre too much but at the end of the day, it offers an honest fighter that most gamers will enjoy!

Despite this Puddle is an original concept, and it can certainly be addictive. It is refreshing to see a game this simple be able to grab a players attention for a number of hours. Enjoyment of the game will definitely depend on the player's ability to handle frustration as it probably could have done with a lower difficulty setting. That being said, if a puzzle game gets you to keep coming back it must be doing something right.

Overall, the game is definitely worth the price and will provide some good entertainment. Hardcore RTS fans won't find the game to be very good unless they look at it as a new type of game as opposed to an RTS, and casual gamers will find they can play and enjoy the game even without being fans of RTS's. As such the game fits a nice niche along with an amazing price. If a person can look past a few flaws then they should find an enjoyable game for a low price.

The graphics are beautiful, with a familiar 1950s sci-fi look to all the ships and the limited sound effects and music complement this feel. There are loads of levels of alien blasting fun, several satellites and enemies to discover, brilliant cuts scenes – It's just a whole lot of ludicrous amusement and at just a few dollars, this is one game that I would gladly recommend.
