Call of Duty: WWII is precisely what fans have been clamouring for over the last few years – A return to traditional boots-on-the-ground gameplay with an increased focus on skill and I have no doubt that it will resonate with fans in a way that the last few games have failed to manage.- Impulsegamer

All in all, the game is fun and addictive, if you’re into racing but are looking for a difference then WRC is definitely one to try. It’s all the fun of racing, with a little less pressure compared to being thrown onto a track with 10+ other guys to beat, dodging cars and racing for immediate on-track position, instead it’s you more or less racing the clock with the challenge of doing the best time. It’s probably not worth the price tag, the cheapest being around the $89 mark, so best to wait it out for it to come down a bit but if you’re a racing fan looking for a bit of difference and challenge it’s definitely worth looking into.- Impulsegamer

Overall, what PES 2018 lacks in authenticity, it more than makes up for in gameplay. Bettering its predecessor on the pitch, PES 2018 is another fantastic entry in the series.- Impulsegamer

The Superhero context and Civil War setting between rival superheroes is excellent and I especially liked how there are modern references to online and social media. And while the game presents a slick RPG experience, dynamic combat, and plenty to explore and do, the focus on more generic fart jokes and lack of depth of South Park history jokes leaves the game feeling more video game generic, and less South Park specific.- Impulsegamer

John Johanas has masterfully taken up the directorial reigns and given us a game that, while it shares many trace elements of DNA with its predecessor, has more than enough of a distinct identity in order to separate it from the pack.- Impulsegamer

While we are still in the infancy of Virtual Reality Gaming, Archangel brings something to the table worth checking out. Giant Robot seated game play making you feel like you are at the controls of the Archangel. Awesome mindless on rails entertainment… that is Archangel, the kind of game you can sit back and just enjoy.- Impulsegamer

Pokken Tournament is a very entertaining game on the Nintendo Switch that successfully gives players an almost Tekken-light experience on this console that is more fun than controller rage. Furthermore, there’s quite a bit of depth hidden in this game and hours upon hours of replay value to keep you engaged as you fight the various Pokémon.- Impulsegamer

Whether you’re a new or returning player, Superstar Saga holds up extremely well in both the story and gameplay departments – the great QoL changes and visual updates are just icing on the cake. Recommended for players young and old who love casual turn-based RPGs and anything Mario related.- Impulsegamer

FIFA 18 does enough to better its predecessor thanks to new player animations and improvements to the gameplay. Although repetitive, the revamped transfer system is intriguing and part two of Alex’s story in The Journey: Hunter Returns makes FIFA 18 the best in the series to date.- Impulsegamer

NBA 2K18 is an amazing game with many new fun aspects to it, the new MyCAREER is fresh and fun and while having flaws the MyCAREER’s of the future are bound to be better but I just hope they continue with the neighborhood. Whether you a fan of the NBA or are just starting to get into it and want to play a video game of it, this game is perfect for you. And for die hard NBA fans, this is a must buy.- Impulsegamer

Forza Motorsport 7 aims high and thankfully delivers one of the best racers for 2017. The content is exceptional, the gameplay mechanics almost perfect and the graphics are just a true treat for any gamer. Add in the insane amount of cars and tracks and Forza Motorsport 7 is worth every penny and is the game that keeps on giving.- Impulsegamer

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is a serviceable, albeit disappointing fighting game release. Solid enough gameplay mechanics and flair dampened by a terrible main story mode, unappealing character designs and a lack of general polish.- Impulsegamer

Final Fantasy IX is an easy recommend for fans of classic JRPGs and should prove to serve as a reminder that, despite the pitfalls the series has navigated through the years, there was a reason why Final Fantasy was once the undisputed king of roleplaying games.- Impulsegamer

One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is a decent addition to the stable of Nintendo Switch games and of course from a Once Piece perspective. It’s a fun experience on the Nintendo Switch with lots of quests to embark on and is a relatively sturdy gaming system. The multiplayer component of the game could have been fleshed out more but nonetheless, it creates a fun game for fans of the One Piece series.- Impulsegamer

If you’re a fan of racing, more importantly simulators, Project Cars 2 is the game for you. Sure, there’s the Forza’s and Gran Turismos but Project Cars 2 seems more grounded in ‘our’ world with its realistic controls and amazing choice for the player in both cars, tracks and events.- Impulsegamer

Sure, this is not a new game but Rayman Legends is a truly fun game on the Nintendo Switch that is definitely a must have title if you love arcade games, particularly of this calibre. Lastly, the level design is brilliant and the developers successfully take a 2D game and turn it into something very special on this new portable console that not only pays homage to the platformers of yesteryear but creates a very compelling modern game for the 21st century.- Impulsegamer

It’s acceptable to have doubts about this game upon your first impressions, but give it a try and you’ll see that Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is a great game. While later levels can get a little bit exhausting you’ll find your dedication rewarded with a little hard work and effort. Just pretend you didn’t see the occasional poop joke and you’ll be fine.- Impulsegamer
