The Ascent is a true homage to the classic top-down shooter genre that adds some modern features without disrespecting its main inspirations.

Saints Row IV doesn't excel in terms of gameplay, but it hits a home run in terms of fun and laughter. The plot is both absurd and beautiful and the activities are so varied that one can easily forgive its faults. If you want a sandbox and you don't take yourself too seriously, Saints Row IV is a game you don't want to miss.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is like having an arcade at home, filled with joy, memories and a brilliant take on classic beat'em up. It's not perfect, it doesn't have huge amount of contents, it's never too original but well, Tribute Games take on Ninja Turtles is simply fun to play and stunning to admire. Good alone, great with friends, it's a love letter to arcade gaming without stressing too much on the nostalgia effect.

An ambitious sequel that doesn't just offer more of the same old Frostpunk experience but brings the series in a new direction. If you are a veteran of the first game, you may initially feel disoriented by the new gameplay formula, but give it time, and you'll find that Frostpunk 2 is another excellent game from 11 bit Studios.

Nintendo has delivered one of the best Mario Party games ever thanks to a truly generous amount of content, and that couple of gimmicks that are perhaps not essential or revolutionary, yet capable of delighting those who prefer single player experiences. If you love party games, Jamboree is a must.

Battlefield 6 is the comeback that fans of the series were waiting for: a campaign that's little more than adequate, but a thrilling, tactical, and spectacular multiplayer experience, although still needing a few final touches.

After Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall is a more "traditional" DLC that offers good quality and quantity of content. It's almost like a digest version of Dishonored, with the same kind of exploration, freedom and replayability. There's a bit of "been there, done that" feeling with the locations, but it's kind of inevitable. Fans of the original game should not miss it.

ARC Raiders could be a long-running game with the right support. For now, it's one of the most solid, engaging, and fun PvPvE extraction games out there.

Severed is an interesting mix between the exploration of classic dungeon crawlers like Dungeon Master and a combat system inspired by recent mobile games like Fruit Ninja and Infinity Blade. A good way to add more value to your PS Vita. The game is maybe just a bit too hard.

A great motorcycle racing game, the best one since a while. Not (yet?) strictly simulative, especially with regard to motorbike collisions and contacts, it features definitely satisfying physics and - surprise! - a new cutting-edge neural A.I. as well.

Like every tilt-controlled game on smartphone it’s not always easy to control it perfectly, but it’s a different approach to Pac-Man Saga, and it’s a fun one. Moreover its free to play nature is well balanced and there’s no need to spending money on in app purchases.

Not to be confused with a re-branded Mortal Kombat, Injustice: Gods Among Us is a very good beat'em up able to both honour the original characters and provide a solid and deep fighting engine. A large roster of fighters (24) and a good multiplayer support are the other highlights of this fine effort by NetherRealm Studios.
