The Disney Afternoon Collection offers six of the best 8-bit games developed by Disney and Capcom to NES with a lot of new content. However, although for people who haven't played them in the past is a recommended option, for veterans it will not be good enough.

The fighting game landscape is tougher than Thragg right now, and this Invincible VS—which is clearly geared toward online tournaments—would need a bit more muscle to truly stand out; however, there is no doubt that if you’re looking for direct, visceral action, this title will deliver an... INVINCIBLE experience (read that while humming the series’ opening theme).

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is the best way to discover Dream Drop Distance (if you didn't play the original) and a wonderful teaser for Kingdom Hearts 3. But the wait, supposed to be easier, is now worse. ¡Come on, Nomura! ¡Bring it on!

WWE 2K19 is the best wrestling game in the series since it came to 2K Games. It's new story mode is very fun and 2K Showcase is back. At last, WWE 2K19 is the game that wrestling fans deserve.

If you are a great fan of Márquez, Rossi, Dovizioso, Lorenzo, Rins or Viñales, you won’t be disappointed (especially if you didn’t buy any of the previous games), as this is a game that can fight to be on the podium, but you need more speed to be a world champion in the racing genre.

Feels too similar to the original Dragon Quest Heroes for PS4, but it is still a great combination of "musou" mechanics with RPG elements, and the great monster design from the series.

Mario Tennis Fever manages to set itself apart from previous instalments thanks to its furor rackets. Its fun arcade experience is rounded off by a generous amount of content. All it needs is slightly less automated gameplay and better progression to score match point.

Carrion is an interesting metroidvania that starts from a different and interesting idea (you're the monster), that horror films lovers and metroidvania games fans will enjoy. Even with its wonderful pixel art, great ideas and wonderful progression, the final chunk of the game and some minor elements prevent the game from ending with a bang.

Milestone keeps improving its most important franchise. MotoGP 20 doesn’t take any risks, but it has some new aerodynamic wings that give it some extra speed. And this year it is a great substitute for real motorbike races.

A faithful remake that bring us back to the golden age of the JRPG. It might be even too faithful, as some aspects have become stall... But some others are as relevant today as the were in the original game, proving that Trials of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 3 is a true gem.

P4 Dancing All Night is the best possible example about how an IP should be handled when switching genres. It's a rhythm game, but has a deep story like any Persona RPG, and stays faithful to the P4 characters, soundtrack, menu feeling... It's a Persona game, transferred to another genre. And it's very well done. But as a rhythm game has its issues, like a scoring system that it's a little bit unclear and permissive, maybe to avoid frustration in the newcomers. Anyway, if you're a fan of the series and/or the genre, you have a very high chance to fall in love with it.

A worthy Planescape: Torment Spiritual successor with such an enjoyable classic gameplay and well written story; but its slow pacing and constant dialogue may only make it appealing to a small crowd.

EA Sports FC 25 establishes itself as a new evolution in the series. There's nothing revolutionary within the game, but it does add enough incentive to be engaging, despite being ‘same old, same old’. FC IQ has impact, Rush mode is fun and the presentation remains impeccable.

A classic, some times clunky adventure that shines on its narrative and superb graphical presentation. If you loved classic adventures such as Flashback or Prince of Persia, you will feel right at home with this game.

Codemasters delivers another great racing game. GRID Legends includes a new story mode and nemesis system, perfect controls and a wide variety of competitions, up to 22 players online. We loved climate effects such as rain or snow.

One of those indie jewels that we can find once in a while. Its style and aesthetics will hypnotize you. Sadly, we can´t say the same about its multiplayer.

You'll like Dishonored Definitive Edition if you didn't play the original. It contains all the DLC and its story and mechanics are outstanding. But if you played Dishonored in 2012, you could end up disappointed.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed brings some important touches to a unique platformer that can now be played again under better conditions. It could have been better, but the remastering work is competent and reminds us of the great virtues that this Wii exclusive had.

A nice and little metroidvania that might not stand out as one of the best in the genre, but we will treasure it for it's powerful messages and deep themes.

If you enjoy grand strategy games and are passionate about the Sengoku period, Nobunaga's Ambition: Awakening has exactly what you're looking for. Plus, the Switch 2 version controls wonderfully thanks to the mouse mode. Keep in mind, though, that this title has a very high learning curve and, unfortunately, is only available in English.

If you're going to play it on Nintendo Switch, make sure it's in portable mode and without Bluetooth headphones: this way you'll enjoy two unique gems of rhythm and action as their creators conceived it. A pity that the input lag calibration on TV is so archaic, so trial and error, because it can easily make you despair...

Nixxes breaks its streak of good ports with a Marvel's Spider-Man 2 that has been released unoptimized, and with important bugs still present after several patches and hotfixes (version 1.212.1.0). It still needs more work to be 100% polished: it's a shame to release great games like this.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a great remake of one of the most special and fun games in the history of Nintendo. The graphical and sound renovation is perfect and the cooperative mode is fantastic. Perhaps it may lack some incentive for veterans, but this game is an absolute gem if you never tried the saga.

A good pick-up-and-play game, but it gets old very fast.
