Epic climax to a legendary saga. Awesome cinematics, cool battles, plenty of variety, great handling, near-to-perfect mechanics: Great, greater, Gears of War.- GamingXP

This shooter doesn't take itself too seriously and features platformer passages as well. Despite its cute appearance, don't underestimate The Gunstringer: It can be stressful at times.- GamingXP

A worthwhile add-on to its predecessor. Most weaknesses like clunky animations and a troublesome interface have been eliminated, and you'll play about 14 hours - so much more than these very popular mini-DLCs nowadays.- GamingXP

Duke Nukem Forever would be quite decent if one felt entirely certain it's intended purely as a self-parody. As is, it doesn't do the expectations, the buyer or the Duke justice – oh, had he rather remained a vaporware legend!- GamingXP

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine is exactly what you'd expect: bloody, brutal, bombastic. The mix of hack'n'slay and shooter really won us over.- GamingXP

It's somehow odd: Its style is psychedelic at best, the graphics aren't quite up to date and the fighting's a bit repetitive. Nevertheless, the charme of the game and the great atmosphere make up for that, big time.- GamingXP

Fighting, action, shooting – that's Warhammer 40k: Space Marine in a nutshell. Thanks to the great presentation and credible story along with the characters that Relic has created in collaboration with Games Workshop, this action title is captivating from the start.- GamingXP

Really just a quick game for LAN parties as there's no long-term motivation. But wait and see what the future holds: Coffee Saint Studios has announced there'll be numerous improvements to esure the game won't win the title of most beautiful indie game on the market not just for the graphics.- GamingXP

All in all I have to say arcade-racing fans should take a look at Driver: Renegade 3D. The game is funny, challenging and a real arcade-racing game with a lot of content and pretty cool comic style scenes.- GamingXP

Dead Island isn't quite the fantastic game the players worldwide have been anticipating for years, but it is a solid survival horror game, with a nice 4 player coop mode, a lot of upgradable weapons and a cool skill system. If you like to kill zombies, zombies and zombies in an open world, then Dead Island is for you.- GamingXP

Cars 2 is a great fun racer with easy tracks and classical weapons. On the flip side, the big turbo works poorly, you have to play the lenghty tutorial no matter what and Cars 2 has an impertinent rubberband AI.- GamingXP

Haunted has what it takes: a great story, some intrigueing characters and a touch of innovation on the puzzle level. Unfortunately, logic flaws, too short a duration and an ending that seems too much of a sales pitch for a sequel ruin the overall impression. Could have been great, is merely a touch above average.- GamingXP

Toy Soldiers: Cold War is a good conclusion of this years Summer of Arcade. The game play elements not only tieing well into each other but also being great fun by themselves is key to this. Whoever enjoyed the single player experience will volunteer for the Toy Soldiers army in the brilliant coop-mode.- GamingXP
