All in all, Shinobi surprises with a good comeback on the 3DS. The game combines the typical 2D level design with some 3D elements in lovely environments and offers a pretty challenging gameplay.

Despite small flaws, I have to admit, that I really liked the game. It is probably not the perfect adventure, but undoubtedly a great game.

Nintendo Land is a pretty cool Wii U feature-demo, which introduces the new gamepad with all it's innovations for the player. The games are pretty cool, but there are only 12 included, and only a few are damn fun. If there were more games and an easy-mode for untrained gamers, the game would be more entertaining.

Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure uses a new peripheral, which looks and works fine, but you have to buy all the other characters, there are no in game unlocks. Still, it's fun to summon new characters by using a peripheral or play local (coop or versus) with friends. Unfortunately, the game offers little freedom, doesn't really make use of the PS3's graphics capabilities and is rather on the easy side (though that may be age-appropriate). All these quibbles aside, the game is simply fun. The story and storytelling are nice and thus you'll keep on playing, forgetting time.

For those who already own an HD-Version of FIFA 13 the Wii U Port may come as a disappointment, but for those who have just started their HD gaming journey FIFA 13 offers a well-done soccer simulation despite its resemblance to the predecessor.

Despite an uninspired melee system and a plateauing story ZombiU does a solid job in bringing an old genre to a new console. This is survival horror how it's meant to be.

Grotesque Tactics takes the fantasy and role play genre on, it confronts it with lots of sarcasm and irony. The game is a blast in terms of humor with a certain wink. Just do not take the game too seriously and have fun.

The Night of the Rabbit is a solid and magical adventure that can be enjoyed by both younger and older players. Even though younger ones need a little bit more patience than adventure-veterans.

It would be a pity, if this was the last adventure of Professor Layton as the presentation as well as the atmosphere is well done, the story exciting and the characters lovable.

The Kingdom of Amalur offers a huge world to explore including dungeons and different regions. There are a lot of varying quests, NPCs and enemies with a enjoyable combat system. On the other hand, you will suspect even without knowing that the game was originally planned to be an MMO. The optics aren't up to date, the hero can't talk and in my opinion, the setting is not dark enough.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is another epic video game by Square Enix and Disney and brings informative insight into Roxas' story and Organization XII. Every Kingdom Hearts fan needs to have it. If you're not a fan, but still interested, get yourself a copy of one of the older games and start playing the epic adventure.

This is the kind of game that can create a new fan base for the Harry Potter franchise. Finally, a good adventure meets an epic story. The graphics are great, and the atmosphere is overwhelming as well.

NeverDead is a cool and solid hack'n'slay like the good old Devil May Cry games. The crazy setting and the immortal hero will not appeal to every player, but I like the new and fresh gameplay mechanics.

There's good ideas to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and the story's got potential. However, it often feels too much like an MMO and from an purist role-player perspective, things like run-by harvesting are atmospheric killer flaws. Its strengths lie in a classless class system and an action-oriented combat system, which should appeal to Action RPG fans who felt that Skyrim was too much of a drag.

de Blob 2 for Nintendo Wii is a game that does not really support the motion features the Wii console offers. Apart from that, de Blob 2 contains hilarious scenes, great effects and is short and sweet.
