Tom Clancy’s End War is much like a supermodel; pretty and fun to play with, but ultimately lacking substance.

While the game may not completely capture our wildest dreams about playing Commander Bond, it does do a great job of capturing the atmosphere.

Quantum of Solace ultimately fails to provide a satisfying experience but not for lack of trying. It’s a classic "almost" game because there are a few things the game does right.

It also lacks a great deal of fun, a key ingredient which the developers ignored while opting to add in a host of monotonous mini-games instead.

It's not perfect, but if your kids find this on the rack at your local game store and are interested in some deep introspection about their place in the world, you could certainly do much worse.

There is more gameplay in this game than any four other holiday titles combined, and every minute of it is compelling.

It’s true, the web-slinging is fun, and swinging between rooftops never gets old. However, the game is dragged down by mindless combat that grinds on and on and on.

Families will enjoy Little Big Planet because of the ease of gameplay and the four player co-op. Hardcore gamers will enjoy Little Big Planet because of the collection aspect and the user created content. Future game designers will love Little Big Planet because of the incredible level editor.

Tornado is fun for a bit, but once they start burying their great initial concept in a morass of extra moves and stupid levels (like a level where a giant bad tornado is bumping you around while the clock keeps on running), it loses its joy.

Baddest of the Bands is another solid entry in the Strong Bad series. The storyline is self contained and it isn't essential that you played Episodes 1 or 2 in order to enjoy Episode 3.

It somehow manages to make a completely stale concept feel fresh again, while providing a ton of replay value through different gameplay modes.

The anticipation for Guitar Hero World Tour was palpable, and to see the party turn South the way it did was a bit concerning.

Very few songs on the Guitar Hero World Tour got me thinking this was something I had to have, but being able to create my own music is much fun, and the unlimited potential for library expansion is awesome.

While the game is frustrating in a number of parts, it's still rather fun to play, if perhaps a bit too much for the young audience it's aimed at.

Crash MOM isn’t actualy a bad game, but the insane loading times cause it to be far more frustrating than it should be.

I readily admit that I rushed my review on Spider-Man 3, so this time I spent more time on Web of Shadows. I really wish Treyarch had done the same.

Takes it time which lets players sink deep into the game world. This makes all the difference between a good game and a great one. Far Cry 2 is the latter.

The game makes a lot of headway in terms of story quality, and the customization is beyond what we’ve seen in any sandbox title to date. While Saints Row 2 doesn’t reinvent the genre by any means, it brings more than enough big pimpin’ gameplay to keep me busy for a while.
