One solid game, and definitely one of, if not, the best music game this year. Mixing heavy metal riffs with the coolest American made controller yet, Guitar Hero is much deservedly rising to a cult status already.

Like the movies, the game is more style than substance, something that needs to be corrected for any future sequels.

NBA 06 is a tale of features over gameplay – and that's kinda sad seeing how skimpy the feature set is.

A decent distraction, even though it isn't much different from the horde of other WWII games out there in recent years with the exception of some mild squad tactics.

Heavy Iron just wasn't able to quite capture the magic of the original Pixar film and the game simply isn't that fun for long periods of time.

If you own an Xbox 360 or if your PC can handle it, I would instead recommend "Call of Duty 2" for its far superior gaming intensity and excitement.

A technically solid first person shooter that creates a great atmosphere using above-par visuals and a wide array of battlefield sounds. Combined together, these two aesthetic aspects of Big Red One create a very intense atmosphere.

It's simply one of the most intense and exciting action/adventure games in years, regardless of hardware.

With a single player campaign so exciting it should be illegal, combined with an incredibly fun multiplayer, Call of Duty 2 is an absolute must-have for any gamer.

Ratchet: Deadlocked is cosmetically similar in a different way of handling the Ratchet and Clank blueprint. It has guns; so did they. It has platforming elements; so did they. It has Ratchet and Clank; but, so did they. Then what could possibly be so alarmingly unnatural about this? A much greater focus on weaponry, that's what.

Rockstar just took numerous people to school on PSP development, showing you can take a huge game and put it on a UMD without sacrifice, and even add stuff to the mix.

You can immediately tell that Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth was created as a labor of love. It defies convention in favor of creating a videogame experience that is a worthy heir to the Lovecraft name.

While not a Jak and Daxter game in the traditional sense, this combat racer does drill together a nice driving game that doesn't fall apart like a cheap engine would.

It’s got a fantastic betting concept, rich customization and a couple of RPG elements throw into the fighting gameplay. On the other hand, the actual gameplay is slow and sometimes boring and the graphics don’t do much to inspire any life into the title.

Yet another solid addition to a top-selling franchise. A new story mode, a co-op classic mode, Xbox Live and a slew of other modes give this game high replay value.

Essentially a great expansion pack that adds some cool and funny new content to what is already a top-tier RPG. The new content is basically window dressing – albeit excellent window dressing.

It succeeds mostly because instead of merely aping the movie, it instead designs a world that the familiar characters blend right into, and adds a ton of backstory to what could be paper-thin 'heroes.'

For all of its shortcomings Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a solid game that stands on the legs of the series' praised gameplay and an epic story that is not seen in every other video game of its kind, which sadly is an accomplishment these days.

Though in general a direct Dynasty Warriors clone, Devil Kings does try to take this familiar play style and make it something different, though it sacrifices the things that made Dynasty Warriors so popular amongst PlayStation 2 owners.

I love Midway and I love the wild, crazy antics of the Rush series. But the way to stand out in the popular new genre of street racing is not to make a poor man's version of The Fast and the Furious.
