Whatever notes Ys Seven is hitting, it's doing it right and marrying every smart mechanic in action-RPG gameplay between themselves to create an actually intuitive system that never tires nor lets up - even if it's more of a throwback than anything out today.

Monday Night Combat is a game that doesn't take itself seriously, nor is the game bogged down with a ridiculous story line. This is a balls out, frenzy of fun that will appease any twitch shooter fans out there as well as those who enjoy class-based multiplayer.

There is so much to like and so little to dislike this year, that if given a chance, I can't see how any true football fan can't find a way to experience Madden football this year and have nothing but a good time.

This game is tough. Maybe I just suck at it but it seems unreasonably hard for what I expected to be a fun brawler. Then again, at least it didn't turn into licensed shovelware.

In short, if you are a hard core online RDR PVP, or gang vs. gang, player then you will want to pick the Legends and Killers Pack up.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair may not quench the thirst of all vampire hunters out there, though it does provide hope for what could lead to a solid, traditional 2D adventure.

The game is still balls-to-the-wall crazy in its concept, but the execution just feels a bit... watered down.

So whether you have to pay the 560 points or use your freebie, you will be pleased either way, if for any reason to continue the insane story line along with the man called Alan Wake.

I'll give the developers credit for the sub-weapon system, I think it's incredibly large and could have been put to good use in a game that had some interesting combat mechanics to it, but this good idea is completely wasted on another awful movie tie-in game.

Overall, I think if you're a Wii only owner and you enjoy JRPG's, you'll probably find Arc Rise Fantasia to be a breath of fresh air. There's not a great deal that can compete with this particular style of game on the system right now, and it certainly has some highlights to it.

Great entertainment for the player. Even with no music, a depressing game world and no weapons or tools to speak of, Limbo is a great game. The only draw back, and the reason that I am not saying that you should stop reading this now and go buy this game, is that the game is extremely short.

Even though the controls are forced on to a less than ideal platform, they probably couldn't be any better.

For one of the rare games that actually made me feel like I wasted my time after playing it, I did enjoy the ride.

You want depth, well this year you have two huge game play options that will take you deep into 2011.

The controls are a mess, the difficulty is ridiculous on the default setting, and the game is just very aggravating to play.

It's kind of sad knowing that game characters haven't really evolved much in that time, and that the Monkey Island franchise is still able to capture my attention without any of the glitz and glam of 3D graphics, 5.1 surround sound, and gigabytes worth of information. I guess that's just a testament to how well this game was made.

I can't lie and say I didn't enjoy some of the time I spent with the sequel, it had been quite a while since I played the original after all, but I was totally disappointed in it by the time I put the controller down.

Overall the game is still the same Persona 3 that I ended up loving back on the PS2, but the new additions and the inclusion of a gender switch for the hero character add a surprising amount of content that's worth checking out for those that already dumped a lot of time into the first one.

Puzzle Quest 2 is definitely worth checking out, and while I wish the soundtrack had been improved upon more it's pretty much the only thing I didn't enjoy about this sequel.

It's often funny, addictive, and surprisingly good to look at, and the wide appeal that this franchise has tacked on with the already wide appeal that LEGO in general has is sure to make this something that fans of either property won't want to pass up.

Overall, this is a really pathetic follow up for to what I considered one of the better hack and slash games in the genre.
