Many gamers are going to dismiss Rhapsody out of hand as too cutesy, too girly, and just plain too weird. Still, the likable characters, fun quest, and lighthearted vibe add up to a loveable game that is well deserving of its cult status, and any DS RPG fan would do well to lighten up a little and follow Cornet on her quest.

Nintendo fans will want to play through Wario Land: Shake It! but may not want to own it. The entertainment value is high enough to justify the thorough exploration of each stage.

There are a lot of different types of animals, which is good, and they are attractive in their appearance. The longevity is questionable, as there’s not much incentive to play once all the animals have been treated. The price isn’t bad for a console game, though, at $30. Best for families with young children.

This is an adventure game that rises above the crowd in terms of great story and immersive gameplay elements. There is just the right mix of puzzles and dialogue, plus lots of action. The atmosphere is fitting, and the animation nicely done.

The real stars of this game are the gameplay and community. The game is multi-layered with enough of an open-ended experience to allow players to play and succeed in the manner they wish – whether in the RvR or as a PvE player.

The Force may be unleashed, but it's a bit more average than the dream Star Wars fans were hoping would come true.

Force Unleashed can be frustrating, and its flaws get in the way of having a good time far more than they should. But while it might not live up to the hype and expectations, it is one of the better Star Wars games out there, and a decent action game in its own right.

This is an above average action game with the added bonus of the Star Wars theme. The fighting is mostly good and the story is compelling. The controls could be tighter and the camera viewpoint better designed.

At 29.99 (USD), there’s no reason not pick this one up. Even if you haven’t played its predecessor, you can’t go wrong here if you are an FPS fan.

Though it is best suited for the hardcore strategy/RPG crowd, it's hard not to recommend Yggdra Union to everyone, as it is one of the most engrossing, challenging and unforgettable RPGs released in a long time.

The presentation of the game does a decent job of sucking you in while the gameplay tries hard to push you away.

Line Rider 2 is a unique experience for the DS that is only limited by a challenging interface. Yet once you get a decent track designed and watch your Rider sled away with reckless abandonment the excitement and fun kicks in.

Even gamers that never played a Dragon Quest game should be able to find the charm underneath the old-school gameplay.

Armored Core for Answer will completely satisfy any fans of the series thus far, and will even do the job for action or mech fans in general. Newcomers to the mech genre might find themselves lost in the customization options and level of difficulty presented.

Not an unexpected sequel but still a very good game.
