The dev team seems to be on the right track to bringing a realistic and compelling game – rife with the vagaries of the sport – to the PS3. A few mechanics need to be addressed, but for FIFA fans, this is a solid game.

I’ve played a ton of puzzle games before but not many of them come close to Lumines.

Still controls like a dream, I credit the franchise for bringing decent controls for a FPS to the consoles.

The stability problems can be a pain. One exhibition game crashed three times before it would finally play out. But this game is exactly the type of sports game that cerebral gamers will enjoy.

A must have for die-hard rally enthusiasts who enjoy the feel of a real driving simulation. Its lack of extra features will alienate casual racing fans, but the game is designed for gamers who appreciate the true racing feel that CMR3 brings to the Xbox.

There are a lot of things that will keep you occupied for months on end, without even going that in-depth with the “career” mode. If you are a fan of this series then picking up this game is a no-brainer.

While the main modes feel relatively the same, this year’s gameplay is a clear indication that this franchise is getting closer to perfection.

Bowser's Inside Story has everything you could want from a Mario game: creative levels, likable characters, and most importantly, gameplay that makes it impossible to put down.

The animation is smooth and wonderful to watch.

Graphically, this is a very solid and good looking PS2 title.

It would have been nice to be able to get up from the captains chair every now and then to walk around the bridge while your commanding your crew, or have the option to meet up with temporarily allied forces in places other then your super-glued captains chair vantage point.

All the storylines were so creatively done it’s a wonder that Westwood or EA has not jumped on the bandwagon and gone Hollywood.

While it certainly lacks in the game mode department and the presentation can be a bit disappointing at times, the games plays great and does a great job of bringing us a good sense of what Arena football is all about.

The Blade of Fate is not only the best Bleach game so far but it’s also the best fighting game to grace the Nintendo DS.

Truly marvelous. Game Boy Advance owners take note: this is a must-buy fighting game.

The game features a tutorial if you so desire, and they make it a nice learning curve as you work your way up the casinos. Nice friendly interface that takes minutes to master.

For all of you audio purists out there, you will be ecstatic to know that the KOEI has given games the option to listen to the original Japanese or English dialog.

It skips the commercial appeal of the Underground games and offers a game filled with intense races, great FMV cutscenes and number of cool cars.

Whether you know everything there is to know about Street Fighter or you’re new to the series, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection is an incredible package.

It reminds me of the roller rink, the movie theaters-anywhere that had a working Mortal Kombat machine. That's the draw for this game ' nostalgia. The hook is everything else.

Plays like an authentic NBA game. Teams shoot around the 40% Field goal percentage range, dunks are down, and finding the open man is essential. And I for one, am quite pleased.

MLB ’09: The Show is a leap forward from ’08 on several fronts.

With this episode, Strong Bad’s Cool Game 4 Attractive People has gone from niche product to required playing for any fan of adventure gaming.

The levels may be short, but so in the learning curve. Players will find themselves pulled through the linear game with anticipation.

It doesn't stray too far from the conventions of today, but there is no doubt, at least in this reviewer's opinion, that this is the best Thief game to date.

With a wonderful assortment of tunes, characters, settings and the ability to use two separate headsets or microphones for duets, you will certainly find plenty to enjoy here.

This is the best game yet in the Smackdown series, and the best WWE game on any system. It has its share of problems, but when taken as a whole, this game is almost impossible not to enjoy.

The matches are intense to the point where they are nail-biting. Many times I had my eyes tearing up from never wasting a second to blink.
