Even though matching tiles to summon units and use abilities isn’t a novel concept, with a heavy focus on creating a consumer-friendly experience, Anomaly Studios succeeded at producing a game that is fun, respectable, and challenging all at once.

No two trees will grow exactly the same, and in this they become less like a program we’re operating and more like a pet we’re caring for. You try your best to help it thrive, to protect it from danger, to see it grow up strong. When it falters, you feel more guilt than frustration. When it succeeds, your pride is not as a player, but as a guardian.

Apart from these few, and brief, deviations from the core experience, Game of Thrones Episode 5 not only maintains the series’ strong narrative, but it provides players with some of the most intense gameplay moments yet.

Your enjoyment of the game only depends on two factors: how much you like match-3 games, and how much you like Adventure Time.

The final result is a game that, even 20 years after its initial release, still stands strong in the genre.

Casual fans of HOGs are better off spending time with an adventure that moves a bit more quickly.

Shooting Stars’! memes and ever-changing enemy patterns make for an odd shoot-em-up that’s hard to stay with for any significant amount of time.

Heroki isn’t just one of the best 2D platformers on mobile — it’s one of the best games on mobile, period. Do yourself a favor and play this thing immediately.

Ultimately, colorful environments and creative obstacles make Nono Islands a fun little adventure game to try- if you are willing to look past the limitations.

Super Awesome Quest is a great little dungeon crawler-like that borrows mechanics from Minesweeper to deliver a fun, awesome experience.

Magic Duels is a great gateway to a game with nearly endless possibilities. The only downfall it has is that it doesn’t do much to expose you to those endless possibilities.

It has simple mechanics, quick bursts of gameplay, and each enemy warrants a different strategy to handle. It’s just going to ultimately come down to whether you like 2D brawlers or not — and if you do, The Executive is a very easy recommendation.

Rumble City isn’t a bad game. It can be fun …but only when you’re not being funneled towards buying cheap health refills and character power-ups.

With some simple level objectives (usually eliminate certain blocks or hit a particular score) the gameplay is a step ahead of it’s predecessor in that it’s not simply a one-level score-chaser. But when the game is easy to the point of boredom, the level layouts can only do so much.

If you can accept the aggravating with the adorable, there’s a lot to enjoy here.

It’s difficult to make a judgment call on the value proposition of an online game like this in just a few days of review time, but it certainly feels like it’s there.

Each person who plays Piloteer will quickly do one of two things: They’ll either work very hard at perfecting the nuances of the game’s flight physics (an endeavor that takes a lot of practice), or they’ll laugh at the titular piloteer bashing her head against the park bench a few times, quickly get fed up with the game’s physics, and move on.

It’s a colorful and easily digestible collection of engaging character-swapping puzzles with heart, and if you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the go, you can’t go wrong here.

While the idea of a math game may sound like a nightmare to some, anyone who craves a flock of great puzzles will love counting these sheep.

From its cleverly-made mazes to the macabre blood-stains that are left behind when you fail (and stay put until you finally succeed and move on), every facet of this game deserves attention from puzzle fans and rabbit enthusiasts.

Overall, Tales From The Borderlands Episode 3 continues the excellent Borderlands-based adventure through new territory.
