Nightgate is an pretty cool mixture of laid back and frantic; plain and pretty; varied and repetitive. It might not be action-y enough for some, or relaxing enough for others, but I think it’s worth checking out regardless. It’s a fun, sort of unique mash-up of puzzles and survival, set in a post-apocalyptic computer world. And it’s pretty!

Flip Diving might be interesting as a narrative diversion about a man receiving severe concussions from a variety of objects, but other than that, it’s not really worth your time.

This is evolution rather than revolution, and not even a particularly dramatic evolution.

Overall, Outfolded will be appealing for puzzle-lovers — but also for those who enjoy a mellow game experience with some brain-teasing as well. The chill-but-challenging vibe will keep you progressing without any pressure and feeling clever while you do it.

Bowmasters is a little heavy handed with ads, but it also throws some free chests at you, providing you with coins and the occasional new character. That means you often feel like you’re making progress, making the frequent ads a little bit easier to swallow.

Ultimately, while Zootopia Crime Files isn’t revolutionary by any means, it’s a fun tale. It’ll last a long time, and it offers a good experience for youngsters in particular. Older Hidden Object fans will still enjoy it, even if they’ll find themselves frustrated by the glacial pace forced upon them thanks to the strict energy bar.

Like knowledge passed down from mother to son, from father to daughter, Hero Generations grows as it ages. And you’ll find yourself enjoying it more and more as the digital years slip away.

There’s potential here. With some extra polish, better path finding, and a better tutorial, Defend Your Turf could be great.

This isn’t Tetris at its finest, but it is an interesting twist on the formula.

Legend of the Skyfish might be a little awkward in a few areas, but it doesn’t ruin the experience so much as disappoint me a little when I think about what could’ve been. It’s a tiny big adventure that should have felt better, but is still worth taking.

This isn’t a game you can blitz through over a weekend, but it is ideal for someone with a busy life who still wants to uncover bits of story. For that reason, Mr. Robot:1.51exfiltrati0n won’t be for everyone.

Deus Ex GO is basically more of the same. The sci-fi coat of paint looks nice, the plot is pointless, the puzzles are tricky but satisfying — and it’s all starting to feel a bit by-the-numbers. Fans of the previous games will still probably enjoy themselves, but I wouldn’t blame them for feeling a little burned out, either.

Overall, Return to Grisly Manor is a gratifying experience filled with smart ways of interacting with space and the objects in that space. Immersive and inventive, the thoughtfulness of the game’s creators can be felt with each new door that opens and each new tool that twists and turns. It’s a treat to play and will entertain anyone who craves a little mystery in their lives.

If you’re looking for a new addition to your arcade library, or you fancy seeing just how fiendish and addictive mobile gaming can be, then this is a great shout. It’s fast, it’s frenetic, it’s a bunch of other things that start with F, and it deserves to be played by as many people as possible.

There are plenty of great skateboarding games for mobile, and while MyTP Skateboarding might have delusions of grandeur, it never manages to land its toughest tricks.

It’s quite possible I’m overthinking this, since this is a really simple game that makes it easy for anyone to enjoy some quick football. That doesn’t change the fact that this feels more like an update than a standalone sequel, and not even Brees’ winning grin can change that.

If you’re looking for a new mobile Final Fantasy that plays like its console brethren, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. But if you need something mindless and fancy-looking to kill time? You could do much, much worse.

Don’t expect it to reinvent the wheel, because that’s not its aim. Instead it’s a game to keep you entertained and cheery in short blasts of grabbed play.

I can’t really say that Tap Transcend: Rebirth is the best clicker/idle game there is, but it clearly appeals to me in a big way. If 4X games appeal to you as well, I’d definitely recommend downloading this clicky twist on the genre and checking it out for yourself.

But it all means that Duck Roll never sparks into the sort of fiery, all consuming life that it needs to in order to get noticed in a crowded mobile market place. That’s a shame, because if you’re a fan of block-pushing puzzlers, there’s a worthwhile game here.

The good far outweighs the bad, of course. Severed is a fantastic adventure in more ways than one. Combat is satisfying and serves a genuine purpose, there’s lots to explore and revisit, and everything looks both wonderful and strange. In short, consider this one a must play.

ReRunners: Race for the World is eventually the kind of game you can dip in or out of (and believe me, you will), but to get the most, you’re going to have to dedicate some time early on to truly ‘get’ it. That’s a slight misstep for a game that should be all about accessibility. Stick with it though, and you’ll love the sense of achievement every time you win a race.

Perhaps the biggest success for Egg, Inc. is how it’ll still make you feel like you’re achieving something. By working towards an upgraded hen house, you can see a noticeable difference in how things go.

Minor eyestrain aside, I’ve been having a great time with The Guild of Dungeoneering. It’s a very clever combination of several individual elements that I’d have enjoyed on their own. And it can be as brutal as it is accessible. That’s a good thing.

Jewel Quest for Cash gets that, and it raises the stakes beyond bragging rights. More than that though, it’s a reminder of a time when match-3 games used to get your heart pumping.
